We ended up at "Casa de Las Columnas" after a nigthmare in another Hotel in Merdida and thank God this Hotel was the best place in Merida. It's an old Colonial House with only a few rooms 13 or 15 something like that. Each room is totally different. The decoration is unique and beautiful. We stayed at "Frida Kalo" room.... more

I seriously dont know were to start! This hotel is BEAUTIFUL, very good location, very clean, very small and private, very comfortable, very well priced. Too be honest it seriously feels like you are staying with family. The staff was so polite and very helpful with anything we may have needed or wanted. They gave us directions, hooked us up... more

Inside you'll... more

The sign is rather understated so we probably drove past a few times before we found it. What a little gem! The owners have gone over every square inch with incredible attention to detail. Each... more

We were at Casa de las Columnas for 4 nights. It is a small hotel (only 11 rooms), 9 blocks from the main Plaza. Each room is different, decorated with antique furniture with all the modern amenities you need and colorful drapes. The ownners are very friendly as well as all their staff, they are always checking if there is... more
