Coming from Chitzen Itza we decided to stay at this hostel for one night, check out merida and taking a nightbus to palenque the folowing night. The owner was very friendly and the room was very neat with a Nice bed and a Nice bathroom (great shower). The folowing day the owners were of great help. We got to store... More

"Mi casa, tu casa" - it's the ideal of every B&B. This is the closest to that goal I've ever experienced. I went here to spend some time doing research and it's perfect for quiet trips as well as more touristy adventures. Here's an incomplete list of all the good things: Clean, comfortable beds, quiet, but still close to the... More

My fiancee and I stayed here in April 2014, and LOVED it! It's perfectly located, with the kindest owners who went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. They both stood outside waving like my parents have always done when we left and I actually teared up. Amazing beds, very clean, well decorated, photogenic... More

I will admit I was a bit concerned when I saw the double locked doors and the need to always use a key even in the daytime. However, once we were inside, I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and relaxing the courtyard was, my concerns lifted. We were shown to our room which was located on the top floor.... More

Casa Alvarez provided a delightful stay for our two couples travelling together. The off-street exterior of the building does not represent the inside which is a bright and colourful courtyard with patio, pool, breakfast area and spiral stairs to the rooms on the second level. And all adorned by plants and flowers. Being in the centre of Merida it was... More

You could not wish for anything more at this price. Very very nice place. We had the "loft" room with a huge terrace. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The owners are great people. They try to help with anything they can and they are very relaxed. There is a great kitchen that you can use, a (small) pool and... More

We found this hotel to be a great value in a great location. The owner is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. It's clear that she cares for the property and her guests. Should we be lucky enough to stay in merida again, we will stay here.

We stayed for one night and have only good things to say. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the room we were in was at the second floor and was very clean with AC, a safe, wardrobe and a comfortable bed. We even had a terrace to ourselves. The house is in colonial style with an internal garden and... More

We booked with Miriam directly. She is a top TOP host. So friendly and always looking to help with any enquiry you may have. When we left, she was going to call a taxi from the street as it was cheaper than calling one. As luck would have it, all the 20+ taxis that drove past us had people in... More
