Meticulous attention to detail. Rooms were beautiful. Wonderful towel animals each day. Room was extremely clean. Extra soundproofing with upgraded windows in street-side rooms. Demolition of building across the narrow street was a major downer with the noise. It's possible this could be a downer for a while. Cold AC in each room. Hand-crafted soap in room but no conditioner... More

This has been the only hotel where I've stayed twice- and for good reason! Service is still great, complimentary breakfast is wonderful and the best part is the company you meet. This is definitely the best priced hotel on the island!

Casa Sirena is a quiet, safe, interesting place to spend time. The art work Steve has collected is stunning and makes each room special. If you want a little more of a taste of Mexico with all the comforts of a top-notch place - air conditioning, ceiling fans, espresso machine, cookies, verandas, private bathrooms and well-heated water in the showers... Steven Broin, Master Innkeeper has created a space of warmth, comfort and perfection. My wife, her daughter and our Grandson spent five memorable days at Casa Serena hotel. Entering the hotel, sweaty from the heat, greeted by Steven, we were given cold towels to cool our heated brows. WOW. And that was only the beginning. Spacious, clean, perfect rooms. A... More

We have been coming to Casa Sirena for years as our vacation from our retirement. Living in Mexico for over 6 years we find our beach time is important for us to recharge our batteries. Casa Sirena on Isla Mujeres fits that to a "T!" The well appointed hotel is a joy to come back to and we always look... More

When you step from the street into Casa Serena, you enter a place of grace, peacefulness and utter comfort. No detail has been overlooked. Steve is a most generous host and his sunset happy hour is simply the best. This was our second visit, and certainly not our last.

Hello Steve and Team Casa Sirena! Que alegria. What joy! Hands down, we are so grateful that we completed and ended our trip in Mexico at Casa Sirena. Isla Mujeres, the island itself, is so cool yet our hotel really made the experience. We had a wonderful Happy Hour where we bonded with the few other guests staying there. We... More

We recently stayed at Casa Sirena this past June, for our Annual Teenage Pregnancy Education & Prevention Campaign on Isla Mujeres. Steven Broin, the Inn Keeper, was so gracious and generous to book his entire hotel to host our volunteers! His hospitality, staff and facility were just over the top and beyond any expectation. The volunteers and committee members were... More

We happened across Casa Sirena on Trip Advisor and after reading all the excellent reviews we were convinced! We were looking for somewhere to stay on our mini honeymoon after getting married in Tulum and we wanted something that wasn't a big, faceless, all inclusive resort. And boy is that what we got! Staying with Steve is like staying at... More

We stayed at Casa Sirena for our 8th time May/June 2015 for 15 nights. As always, the hotel is spotless, the breakfast excellent; and, happy hour is constantly AMAZING with a relaxed 'get to know your fellow guests' atmosphere with the best margaritas anywhere and a view both of the Caribbean and the Cancun coastline. We stayed in Room 4,... More

Steve B, Owner at Casa Sirena Hotel, responded to this review

One of the joys of opening a little hotel on an off-the-map destination like Isla Mujeres has been seeing our return guests fall in love with the Island, as I did 25 years ago. We are delighted you consider Casa Sirena your "home away from home..." More
