Let's start with the best; we can cook for ourselves when we wish to. There is a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and dishes and silverware. It makes an extended stay so much more liveable. The rooms are large and well maintained - very clean. The location in great -- right in town where things are happening, but most important... More

We stayed in a second floor balcony room - very roomy; view of the pool. Some of the balcony rooms overlook the roof, with vent fans that are quite noisy. Maybe next time we'll try a first floor room. It might help to view your room before moving in. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room had a mircowave and... More

This hotel is great. The room at the pool level is perfect. The man at the reception is gentle and cordial. The price is perfect before 15 December. The room was clean and the roomate did a very job. Close to the beach about 300m. I qill return there,,,

We just got back from 9 nights at this hotel. We stayed in the second floor on Hidalgo St. We were prepared for it to be noisy but it wasn't bad. We could hear bass from the music but that was about it. The worst evening was when there were little kids playing in the street screaming for two hours.... More

We had reservations at another hotel prior to arriving in Isla. You can read my review of that hotel but it was horrible! We immediately checked out then set about trying to find somewhere else to stay. We searched Hotels.com and found this hotel based on price, location and having a pool. We went to the front desk and the... More

I was really hoping to give this hotel a higher score, but after staying there for 3 nights, I can't. Let me explain.... Pros: 1) Very clean and with nice staff 2) Small pool area 3) Right on Hidalgo and close to everything Cons: 1) Right on Hidalgo! We had an inside room so we were not even facing the... More

we stayed here for three nights in November. Great location right in the middle of Hildago with some great restaurants just steps from the door. Our room was simple with a refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave but there were no utensils. The room only had fluorescent lighting which was pretty harsh. Also, no bottled water was provided. The area around... More

You can't go wrong staying at Hotel Plaza Almendros. Is on the North end right on Hidalgo Street which is the busiest on the island as far as shops and restaurants. Only foot traffic is allowed on the street, so you don't need to worry about vehicles and extra noise. From the outside you wouldn't expect the very private courtyard/pool.... More

I have been visiting Isla Mujeres for years and it is the best value for your money here. I always come back. Everything is within walking distance: Restaurants, Dock, Bars, and the famous Playa Norte. Isla Mujeres is also the perfect spot to go see the amazing Whale Sharks and excellent scuba diving spots. All rooms include a fridge, microwave,... More

We stayed here for four nights and I must say that the location is great, right on the street with all the restaurants, bars and shopping. And the best part was that you heard nothing from the bars inside the hotel area at night. Refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster was great to make a simple breakfast and to make snacks... More
