I have been to Villa Kiin many many times now, and i am disheartened to see some of the more negative reviews....the place can be a bit rustic in some of the rooms, while others are so charming....depends on your price range....i enjoy the budget rooms which can't be beat! The isalnd itself is amazing, it is a small island,... more

We checked in to this hotel. The receptionist told us that there was construction going on but that it would start at 9am. The first morning we woke up to the construction workers demolishing concrete walls right beside us. AT 8AM! We woke up and went for our breakfast down the street which consisted of 2 pieces of dry toast... more

Villa Kiin is by no means luxury, but I really enjoyed my stay there. I loved the location - which is right on the beach (North Beach) and is within close walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Besides being on the beach, there is a garden area as well which is a nice quiet area to lounge in... more

Just stayed here for two nights with my two children. Location is unbeatable for chlildren - safe swimming and fish watching right outside our palapa. The room was nothing special and quite dark, but clean enough. The hotel is described as being family-friendly. However, my six-year-old son was yelled at very aggressively by a hotel guest because he was playing... more

The location is great for young kids. Right on a quiet lagoon which is great for swimming and sand playing. The hammock garden is also nice. However, our room was a total dump. It was dark as a cave, tiny and just plain ugly. The one, halfway bright lamp in the room didn't even have a switch, you had to... more

Its a quaint little place right across from the Avalon Reef Resort. Its definitely not 5-star and has some small sand flea population, a few night-time cat/dog fights, and fairly weak service. But the hammock garden is wonderful, the water is warm and close by, and its close to downtown. more

The best about this b&b is the enchanting location: right on the white sand beach of Playa Secreto. Water is so clear and hot that you will want to swim and snorkelling all day long! We stayed in room #4, ensuite, which although without frills was big, clean and with a fan. We got a very relaxing experience. Staff is... more

We stayed here for 4 nights. On the internet the person with whom we booked the room with was very helpful and friendly but when we got to the hotel the staff was not very helpful or friendly. We stayed in the small honeymoon bungalow. Although this was supposed to face the beach, there was a fence blocking our view.... more

My husband and I had a very short but very nice stay at the Villa Kiin the last week of May. We stayed in the Small Honeymoon Suite, Room 4 and it was very nice. It had the basic TV with cable, a bed, closet with safe, and bathroom. It did take the hot water just a little while to... more

Just got back from Villa Kiin. This place is great for low key travelers. There was a communal kitchen where we made our daily food/snacks/drinks. The beds were SUPER comfortable. The bay that the hotel sits on was great for snorkeling. We even saw an octopus near the sea wall. The sand was clean. I should mention that the hotel... more
