For $170 we stayed in a room literally 20 STEPS from what can only be described as a natural aquarium. The water was crystal clear and mirrored that of any aquarium you may see. Trumpet fish, tang, hermit crabs...you name we saw it. Now for the hotel. This is NOT a five star property. You are pairing a minimal amount... More

The hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars.....the beach does. Situated right by Playa Blanca, this beach is a public beach and one of the BEST beaches for kids. No waves, tons of colorful fish and at low tide you can walk out to the reef. Hotel: Complaints: Only get one towel for 3 days Charge guests for use of beach chairs... More

This is a great, well located hotel in Isla Mujeres. It is clean, comfortable and right on the beach where you can swim and snorkel. It looks like a terrific place for families with kids. There is a common kitchen if you want to cook meals, and each room has a small refrigerator. There is also a lovely hammock garden... More

This villa is adorable, clean and super friendly staff. The view from our room looks right at the ocean and the hammock garden is awesome. Will definitely go back again! Thank you! Rachel, Eau Claire, WI

This was our first stay at Hotel Villa Kiin but it will not be our last. The staff and grounds were beautiful. Best location on Isla Mujeres. Happiness abounds at this hotel. I wish I were there now. The rooms are clean. Our room had a ceiling fan, AC, a small refrigerator and television. The bathroom was clean with sink,... More

Just got back yesterday, stayed in one of the Mayan huts. This place could be really very nice if they did some work on it. They rake the sand on the grounds every day, but none of the tables outside in the common area were ever wiped down, they were filthy- simple enough to do. The room was big and... More

We stayed here in Dec. 2013. This place has hotel rooms, but also a handful of rustic mayan huts. We stayed in one of those. It was so fun! They have a really nice patio with a hammock garden, and immediate beach access. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was because the beach area is really small, bordered... More

We stayed in a Pakal room on the second floor and had a wonderful view of the beach and water from the terrace. The room was perfect for us a/c, refrigerator, and very very clean. The only downside was the bed, which was not terribly uncomfortable, but also not terribly comfortable. However, compared to other places I've stayed in Mexico,... More

When we booked this hotel we felt we had a good idea of what to expect, basic accommodation in a nice setting. The plastic covers on the mattresses should have been a red flag to us. Every day we would wake up to dozens of bug bites, we saw the odd mosquito in the room but couldn't blame them for... More

This is my 9th trip to the island, and I've stayed in several of the hotels. The Villa Kiin was a great stay- beautiful location right on the protected lagoon, clean rooms, and so relaxing! I would recommend this place to anyone, as well as any of the other hotels belonging to the owners- Playa Media Luna was another one... More
