I stayed in Elements of the Island in 2008, because my condo was not available, the room was very nice, lovely, and clean, with everything that I needed, I recommend this hotel to everybody! I travel to Isla Mujeres very often and everytime that I am in Isla Mujeres I have breakfast there! it is always a pleasure to see... more

My hubby and I stayed here for a week. The rooms are perfectly furnished with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchenette includes a medium sized fridge, plenty of dishes and silverware for 2 people and purified water. They even include some sharp knives. The room has an IPOD charger/player which was nice to have. The bathroom has enough... more

Stayed at Elements from March 4-11th and really enjoyed everything about it. We have visited Isla Mujeres many times, the first time probably close to 15 years ago, when it was virtually undiscovered and then most recently about 4 or 5 years ago. At that time, we felt that it had certainly been found and had become crowded and noisy,... more

If you're too old to stay in a hostel or a $35 a night hotel but not rich enough to afford a beach condo, this is the perfect solution. The owners, Cesar and Lisa, rent out three identical rooms - one on top of the other - and each is clean with a king bed, kitchenette, TV, nice bathroom, and... more

Our stay at Elements was a wonderful experience: location, cleanliness, spaciousness, and - as others have written - a genuinely caring attitude by the owners Lisa and Cesar. The room rate was quite reasonable given the space and location and we couldn't have asked for more. An added bonus are the yoga classes and healthy breakfasts (extra charge for both).... more

Me and my 9 year old daughter went to Isla Mujeres for the first time this June. We spent 5 nights at the Elements and it was wonderful and lovely and charming and wholesome. The temperature was in the high 90's with dense humidity. So it was crucial for us that whenever we return to our room, it was clean,... more

We didn't sleep here (unfortunately, we will book Elements the next time) but passed by searching for a place to have breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. We made a big tour through Mexico and visited lots of places but we never had a breakfast like the one here. For example: the home made bread was great, as well as the... more

My partner and I stayed at Elements of the Island for five nights in January and we can't say enough good things about it. The decor was great, it was incredibly clean, the bed and bedding were very comfortable, there was a nice bathroom and shower - with good water pressure. The small kitchenette was perfect - and it was... more

This small hotel and breakfast place was a wonderful find. We left our rural new england town right before a snowstorm and returned right after another storm. While our neighbors were dealing with the storms we swam in beautiful ocean water daily. The shades of blue were numerous as we gazed from our lounge chairs on the beach. Beaches within... more
