Our 5th trip to Isla Mujeres and first time at Elements of The Island. What a great place! Perfect location-close to shops, cafes, beach, downtown activity, yet inside the courtyard it is tranquil and relaxing. Bed and linens were really nice. Slept very well! The cafe food is wonderful- plan to eat there next time even we can't stay at... More

Elements is nicely nestled in the north end of the island. Super cozy. We stayed on the second floor, and the room was filled with wonderful natural light. There's a board on the second floor that contains notes from past travelers of days gone by but not forgotten. A nice touch. The cafe serves a delicious breakfast with homemade bread.... More

Felt so relaxed in this cute cafe. We ordered the fruit plate, oatmeal with fresh fruit, yogurt, and cream, BLT with an egg, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious. The restroom was spacious and immaculate. We are definitely going back!

We had a great room with the most fantastic sheets we've ever slept in. Beautiful decorated hotel with a personal and modern style, yet familiar. Great service, nice location (close to the beach and the harbour - we walked from the boat). Friendly service from Madjid and his staff! Can really recommend this hotel!

I loved breakfasting at Elements for many years. When the charismatic original owners, Lisa and Cesar moved on, I avoided the restaurant, assuming I'd be disappointed. Finally last month, my wife and I talked to the delightful new Parisian-Algerian owner, returned another day for breakfast, and were very happy. Majid bakes the same fabulous bread, accompanied by 2 fresh jams:... More

Our room was more of a small studio apartment than a hotel room with its fridge and microwave oven. It was bright and spacious and the TV had lots of film channels. Much appreciated when we got sick! The fridge made an annoying noise when it started up that took some time getting used to. The (middle) room has an... More

We spent a week here between Christmas and New Year's and could not have been happier with our choice. Two blocks to the beach, and one block to the shopping, restaurants and bars of Hidalgo. Maghid, the owner, was present every morning, when we had delicious breakfasts. Homemade breads and jam. Swiss influence with cheeses. Our room on the first... More

We loved our top-floor room, lots of light, great price, kitchenette, daily cleaning, lovely. Great location and we ADORE the yoga teacher Meg, she is awesome, we booked here partly for that reason and went to every class of hers we could.

Traveled solo to Isla, This was the perfect place. Location is excellent! Close to everything, yet tucked away so that it's secure and private. Just steps to the best beaches of Isla, fresh seafood, stores and the breakfast in their restaurant was an added bonus. Madjid and staff were polite and very helpful. The rooms were spotless and felt like... More

This place is a "must see" on the island. They serve the best organic meals and its really tasteful. They have a short menulist which is perfect. Go for the omelet and fresh squized juices. Opening hour from 7.30 to 13.00 every Day except wednesday.
