If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy the south end of the island, this is a great place to stay. You'll definitely need to rent a golf cart, though. We didn't mind driving our golf cart to the north end for shopping, beach, and restaurants, but there are also a few nice restaurants and a decent beach (Beach... More

We stayed for 6 nights , no complaints, rooms were very clean, maid service every day. Carlos and his staff did an excellent especially serving a nice fruit plate, toast and coffee for breakfast, which was included. Fresh fruit every morning was a delight! Within walking distance to Punta Sur, and National Park. For a fabulous fish dinner try Maria's... More

This is a smaller hotel with a great deal of privacy. It is not right on the ocean, but the eastern side of the island is a short 5 minute walk away. You can actually walk all the way to the Maya Ixchel ruins along the Caribbean shoreline from here. The one drawback of the hotel's location is that restaurants... More

Stayed here for a week. On the other end of the island from the tourist centre and a 20 minute walk to the local town. If u want to get away from it all and experience the local way of life we then this is the place for you. Great room with kitchen facilities and breakfast included. Only complaint was... More

The first day at this hotel I thought it was a huge mistake. Towards the end of the trip I really liked this place a lot. So for the drawbacks there is one older gentleman who does not have a good attitude that works there, there are a couple of great employees who are very nice and helpful. This is... More

The resort itself is okay, I meta you could much better for the price but still. I liked the pool because it was deep enough, nicely shaped and clean. There was no indoor reception area so for checking in and out I was sweating like hell. The room was spacious but very dark and humid. The air conditioning didn't do... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. If all you need is a place to rest, shower and unplugged, then this is your place. If you are looking for luxury and all inclusive deals, then do not even think about it. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but given that the island is... More

The property itself is nice. No indoor reception area. However, the area around the hotel is scary. Road to hotel is a rocky dirt road between the two main roads. Wifi worked great but AC was mediocre with no ceiling fan. The beach access to Captain Dulce's is a bad beach. Wouldn't stay here again. I was scared!

This is a good spot to stay if you don't want somewhere noisy. The suites are located at the south end of the island (the quiet end). The room I had was large, and comfortable. There is breakfast provided in the mornings - lots of fruit. I would definitely recommend hiring a golf cart as its the best way to... More

Simple but Lovely stay. We really enjoyed our visit here a year ago in january 2013, and we´d love to come back to this Little oasis! It´s quiet and peacefull. Also enjoyable room with a Little hammock on the balcony, a fridge to put food into, nice jaccuzi and a tv + dvdplayer for your yoga dvds to play :)... More
