Hate to mention it almost because I don't want more difficulty in getting a room next visit. Going back for fourth visit this coming New Years. Have stayed in standard and jaquzzi rooms as well as bungalow and bungalow was over the top great. Family next door belonged to sport fishing captain down for the season. He was working! I... More

I'm just back from a 6-night stay at Playa La Media Luna. Our party included two adult women friends, each with a 7-year old child. We stayed in bungalow # 1, and I can't say enough nice things about it. It was large enough for everyone to have a bit of space, had a full kitchen, and was spotless and... More

This place is really nice, clean, and comfortable and the staff makes you feel welcome. There is a continental breakfast from 8:30Am till 10A which consist of toast, cereal, fruit, juices and coffee. The pool is nice and kept clean by the maintaince guy who also is a gardener and a bartender. That's where the improvement is in needed. Even though... More

This is a great get away on the quiet side of the island, and yet a 5 minute walk to the best beaches on the island. Over a period of a few hours a few people may walk by on the beach. It may as well be private. This is not a swimming beach, but the water is a beautiful... More

We rented a cabana, that had AC!! Once we left and were in Tulum without it, we realized how grateful we were. This place is beautiful, loved bringing our tacos, empanadas and rum back to sit and eat by the pool. The rustic cabanas were $44/night for us and it was perfect, a great deal- more than we could have... More

Great hotel! the rooms are very clean, there is a beautiful view and the beach feels like a private beach. Young people don't get there because the hotel is not considered cheap so there is quiet and you can relax. The staff is very kind and you can order attractions, golf car, and massage through the hotel, we booked a... More

We returned from our third stay on March 15th. Once again fell in love with the location and the staff. The hotel is a true gem on Half Moon Beach. We have stayed in the Bungalows, Standard Rooms and the Rustic Roca Rooms and loved all three. From the moment you arrive you truly feel you are in paradise. We... More

Location- Quiet, secluded beach front location. Perfectly quiet for great napping/sleeping. No roosters around to wake me up in the morning, although I don't sleep in late anyways. The beach isn't swim-able right out front of the hotel due to sharp coral rock formations but this keeps the crowds/noise away. Small shallow pools form in the coral that you can... More

We just returned from our second stay at Playa La Media Luna Hotel. And fell even more in love with this amazing hotel the second time around! I did not leave a review last year because I didn't want the best kept secret on Isla Mujeres getting out. From the moment we walked through the front doors I thought how... More
