Room was very dated but you don't go to Mexico to hang out in the room. Staff was the least friendly of any place we have stayed on Isla Mujeres. The lounger outside our room had a dirty pair of swim trunks on it when we checked in and 2 days later they were still there. Lounger should have been... More

We've been to Isla Mujeres several times. This was our first time at Playa Media Luna. Stayed here for a week with my husband and young son. We stayed in one of the two bungalows and loved it. Full kitchen with separate bedroom (2 beds), living room and dining area. Sliding doors open up to a patio with table and... More

We had 2 nights here and were pleasantly surprised with our room - just a basic double but open the terrace door and you are on the pool side and a few steps from the (very choppy sea) beach! The room was slightly dingy but I think the decor didn't help with that. Fridge provided and a shower room which... More

This hotel is located in a perfect place, walking distance to the main street of the island. Staff are super nice and the room with Jacuzzi was amazing! Isla Mujeres is the best place I've been during my trip to Riviera Maya. I would strongly recommend this hotel and will go back if I am lucky enough to go to... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at Playa La Media Luna. The hotel is located at the end of a small road which makes it quite private and quiet. We had a first floor King room which overlooked the pool and Caribbean. The bed was soft and comfy, the bathroom was spacious with a large walk in shower... More

What a wonderful place. Most rooms open onto your own balcony which overlook the pool and then the ocean. Slept with window and door open most nights to listen to ocean. Service is fabulous. Oezer and Toosie (please forgive my bad spelling) would have done anything to make our stay better, but it was already great! Beautiful boutique hotel, off... More

If your looking for a quiet place with the most beautiful view on the island this is it. Its not a 5 star hotel, there is no elevator, the bar at the pool is never open and the "breakfast" is what you would expect at a Hotel 8. However, if you want quiet relaxation on a budget this is your... More

Stayed for a week. Great location, walking distance to everything. Being a swimmer, pool small but very appealing. Love outdoor area. Slept with the sound of the sea. I took and electric jug for making tea and coffee. Would stay there again.

This hotel is all about location. It sits right on a non-crowded beach with beautiful views from the pool and most rooms. The hotel is clean and very small. The walk into the main street with all the restaurants and nightlife is about 5 minutes. They are very helpful and arranged airport transfer for us and can also arrange golf... More
