We rented the lovey Casa Aqua and overflowed to the hotel Playa La Media Luna, they operate the beach house . Our party of 10 enjoyed a great fishing via the hotel with Keen M sports fishing catching 3 sailfish on 1 trip! The house, Casa Aqua was perfectly situated on North Beach. We spent our days by the pool... More

The hotel has its good parts - good location and views but is let down by weaker areas. You aren't made to feel super welcome as staff sat behind a glass panel and only came out if they see you - very different to other more welcoming hotels we stayed in Mexico where you feel at home to begin with.... This hotel has good and not so good attributes. The location is beautiful and serene and vendors do not bother you. The hotel staff is accommodating but only to a certain point, I wouldn't say friendly. This is an area that could use improvement. The "breakfast" is crap. Pre packaged food and lame selection of fruit which ends at 10:30...not... More

Great beach-front hotel. We rode our golf cart all over this island and we didn’t see a place that we would have rather stayed. It’s quiet and serene with a beautiful pool area overlooking the ocean. Yet it’s a 5 minute walk to North Beach or Hidalgo. We had a king Jacuzzi suite on the 3rd floor. The balcony was... More

My husband and I picked this one out of the hat! Boy were we lucky. This hotel was perfect. Pool, beach and awesome sunrise views every morning. Entertainment and good restaurants around the corner at the Fenix. We rented a cart and walked around town in the morning and evenings to dinner. The hotel management and amenities were all we... Small hotel with one of the most beautiful views on the island! Just a few blocks from the ferry, close to North beach, and downtown area all within walking distance. All rooms face the pool which looks out over the ocean. We had #14, comfortable king bed, very clean, good shower always hot water. There was a coffee maker in... More

Loved the location, waking up to watch sunrise each morning of our stay, really lovely. The pool area was good, we enjoyed dipping in the pool to cool off and hanging out on the variety of types of chairs and chaises. Plenty of shade available. Pool bar rarely staffed by a guy or two with multiple jobs and a lot... More

Million dollar view. Was hard to leave each day. Hotel was clean; although it could use some sprucing up. Staff, with the exception of one gentleman, were very professional and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Best room amenity was terrace and in room hammock. Far enough away from town that we felt we could get away and... More

The view from our room was by and large the best thing about it. We booked a jacuzzi suite for 5 nights in Nov 2014. The sheets were scratchy and the duvet looked ancient. The jacuzzi was anything but. The water was hardly lukewarm, and the jets barely worked at all. The staff did send someone up to fix the... More
