We have stayed at the Media Luna many times and it are never disappointed. It puts a smile on your face to walk through the lobby and feel the breeze coming in off the ocean. It is in a great location to be close to town and still feel somewhat secluded. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. We'll... More

As frequent travelers to the island, we figured we would try this hotel out. Located on a small dirt road, pml sits directly on the beach. Great pool and the staff are awesome. We had the jacuzzi king suite. We never did use the jacuzzi tub but the private terrace was excellent. Weeper, the front hotel desk clerk, was awesome.... More

Have stayed in standard and jaquzzi rooms as well as bungalow and bungalow was over the top great. Family next door belonged to sport fishing captain down for the season. He was working! I... More

I'm just back from a 6-night stay at Playa La Media Luna. Our party included two adult women friends, each with a 7-year old child. We stayed in bungalow # 1, and I can't say enough nice things about it. It was large enough for everyone to have a bit of space, had a full kitchen, and was spotless and... More

This place is really nice, clean, and comfortable and the staff makes you feel welcome. There is a continental breakfast from 8:30Am till 10A which consist of toast, cereal, fruit, juices and coffee. The pool is nice and kept clean by the maintaince guy who also is a gardener and a bartender. That's where the improvement is in needed. Even though... More

This is a great get away on the quiet side of the island, and yet a 5 minute walk to the best beaches on the island. Over a period of a few hours a few people may walk by on the beach. It may as well be private. This is not a swimming beach, but the water is a beautiful... More

We rented a cabana, that had AC!! Once we left and were in Tulum without it, we realized how grateful we were. This place is beautiful, loved bringing our tacos, empanadas and rum back to sit and eat by the pool. The rustic cabanas were $44/night for us and it was perfect, a great deal- more than we could have... More

Great hotel! the rooms are very clean, there is a beautiful view and the beach feels like a private beach. Young people don't get there because the hotel is not considered cheap so there is quiet and you can relax. The staff is very kind and you can order attractions, golf car, and massage through the hotel, we booked a... More

We returned from our third stay on March 15th. Once again fell in love with the location and the staff. The hotel is a true gem on Half Moon Beach. We have stayed in the Bungalows, Standard Rooms and the Rustic Roca Rooms and loved all three. From the moment you arrive you truly feel you are in paradise. We... More
