Stayed for a long weekend before Thanksgiving in Room 1 Tulipan. Would recommend if you want upper level, away from pool and with unobstructed view. I agree with those who say it is remote ... Not even a walking area outside the gate. And the continental desayuno is basic. Coffee was good but dry creamer, plain toast with non butter... More

It's a lovely place indeed but we paid 90USD but all in one the place should cost no more than 60USD/night. Its plus are no doubt the view from the rooms, the nice pool area and the helpful receptionist but the minus are possibly a deterrent: rooms and the bathroom definitely need to be refreshed; the place is cut off... If you are searching for a quiet retreat from the insanity of the rest of the world, this little sliver of paradise might be the tonic you need. We stayed in room 6 with a porch and grass sitting area and a spectacular view of the Caribbean and mainland Cancun. Eduardo handles the particulars of the stay, is very friendly... More

We stayed the last week in September, 2014. The place is beautiful. We stayed in room #5, nice balcony, great view of the sea, new A/C - worked perfectly, excellent continental breakfast, - which they brought to the room - we eat on the balcony. Eduardo, the manager, was friendly and very helpful. Juan, the chef, prepared lunch one day... More

Beautiful views, lovely rooms and balconies. Really helpful and friendly staff. A bit out of the way from the main town on the island, making is very peaceful, but a 10 mins taxi ride (usually c. 78 pesos) downtown. Lovely to have breakfast on the balcony, but breakfast itself a little limited.

We stayed here for 5 nights while on vacation. We had a beach front room with oceans views from the bed. The room is large and the bathroom clean. Edward the manager was fantastic he made us feel welcome, organised our washing and a golf cart for us to drive while on the island - do this if you can... More

The good: great location on a cliff, overlooking the ocean, to the west (you can see the sunset) We had a room right on top of the swimming pool. At first, we feared it'd be noisy, but the lack of guests in the off season made sure we had the pool all to our selves! All rooms have porches overlooking... More

Stayed in room 8 for two nights. Room has twin beds and partial sea view with a nice terrace overlooking the sea. There is access to the beach from the hotel but it's not a sand beach where you lie and relax. It's mainly for snorkling. The hotel is located at the south end of the island. It takes 10-15... More

The hotel was chose because of it exotic, the previous reviews and price. The hotel is a bit far from downtown, but it motivates to rent a golf-car that makes your rest more adventure and lets you to know the Island closely. The friendly attitude of the owners (Eric and Paula) and staff (Juan and Eduardo - yep-boy) throughout the... More

This review is very late but I tell you this was a wonderful place to stay. We are going back in Feb2015 for 4 days. We stayed last year in Jan for 10 days. The couple that run the place are great. Everything that we needed was attended to. Resturant was also very good. Clean, quiet and what a view. The room... More
