Great hotel. Rooms in the front are beautiful. Hotel is only a block from the downtown action but away from the noise, very peaceful. I stayed for one night because of the cost but it's not really expensive for what you get. Very well decorated, clean, plenty of hotel water. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The Francis Arlene is in the perfect location. Just around the corner from the Malecon for my morning walks to watch the sunrise and collect sea glass as well as being one street over from Hidalgo where the main restaurants are. Our room was great with a balcony that had a view of the ocean... More

I loved this hotel, it has so much detail everywhere. The inside garden is beautiful, and the rooms are decorated very cute and with great care. It felt a bit like staying with my grandparents, where everything is perfectly decorated, a flower cloth on every table, a picture on every wall, and everything spotlessly clean. Fan, fridge, a/c, it all... More

Stayed here for almost two weeks!!! Moved three different rooms to due our party size growing and shrinking each room was great. ac, frig, fan, I would definitely stay here again. Its very quaint and fits in with the area very well. Not like a large commercial hotel. staff is very friendly and laid back.

We just came back from a trip from Isla Mujeres where we stayed at the Francis Arlene Hotel. Our room was in the back overlooking the quiet courtyard. It was spotlessly clean, very quiet with a private balcony and a quiet air conditioner. There was always purified water in the courtyard for drinking, also a refrigerator in the room to... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. We stayed in a ground level room, with a "balcony" looking out to a parking lot, but a nice view of the courtyard (with mozzies). It is very close to the free to use water dispenser. The room itself is dated, but it has a cold fridge, microwave, a coffee maker, cutlery, plates... More

We were happy to start our tour through the Yucatan at Francis Arlene. Our room had a balcony, a/c, a queen bed, and large bathroom. We went in the low season, so rates were low, but that added even more to hotel. The courtyard is decorated with plants, palms, and pottery. The hotel is next to the sunrise, and three... More

Me and wife had reservations for two nights at Frances Arlene on Isla Mujeres. Upon arrival we almost immediately fell in love with the island. Frances Arlene had nice clean rooms with nice tile floors, came with a small fridge for our drinks, and a cute little balcony. They had a nice courtyard in the middle of Hotel with lots... More

We had room #12, with three double beds. The little balcony outside our door overlooked the hotel courtyard and got the breeze all day. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The air conditioning was whisper quiet, but we used it on only three of our nine nights. The beach was only a two-block walk to the north. Restaurants... More

We are currently staying in the Frances Arlene-- it is a Jewell here on Isla. We have an interior room -- very large and bright. There is a huge balcony steps away which is hardly ever used so we have had it to ourselves for most of our 11 day stay. The beds are very comfortable. We love the location-- lt... More
