I didn't expect a fabulous room with lots of amenities when booking during high season on Isla for less than $50 US. However, no matter the price, a hotel should provide a clean room, clean sheets and the staff should at least be approachable if they can't be friendly. The staff here are hot and cold - one day Frank... More

We knew going in that this was a basic hotel plus we got a great price at high season. The toilets were very sensitive. There are no elevators (which is fine) we knew that. But it is quite a hike. The wifi was very limited. You had to be in the lobby or in the 1st floor communal area. The... More

We chose this hotel because the price is cheap, the beds are quite big (we had 2 queen beds for us 2 plus a 3-year-old child), there is a good A/C, and a share kitchen area which is so full of morning sunshine and smell of fresh coffee that it was very enjoyable for us to have breakfast there. We... More

The rooms are big, but the equipment is very old. The air conditioning is like 20 years old, it's very loud and if you don't switch it on the room becomes a sort of claustrophobic oven. the shower is so frustrating: there is hardly any water coming out of the pipe, it took me 20 minutes to wash my short... We booked a last minute trip over New Years and managed to find accommodation at Hotel D'Gomar. I had seen it many times while on Isla and this was the first time staying there. The price was very good ($45/night) and we stayed in a room with two double beds and a nice updated bathroom. The beds were a bit... More

We booked one night stay with friends so all together we booked 3 rooms one king size bed Oceanview if you call it that and two standard rooms with two double beds. Rooms are very dated and the hotel was full of ants. We checked in left our overnight bags there so that we weren't carrying them around the Island... More

Very bad management, this hotel was a big disappointment for me. Hotel Manager was difficult to approach after commenting on a very noisy party that occur at the Wi-Fi exterior area on first floor. Lack of night watch staff, and very noisy all day. This hotel is located right in front of the very busy ferry terminal arriving from Cancun,... More

Once you leave the ferry, this budget hotel ( < US$50) is right across the street. If you are ok with noisy areas and you want to be close to restaurants, tourist shops, golf cart rentals, this little hotel might be good for you. It is about 5minutes walk from the public beach on the West side and about 15... More

I've stayed here a few times over the past 5 years, it is conveniently located across from the ultramar ferry dock. There is free wifi, in the common areas, and a nice little lounge area on the second floor with a microwave and a few other amenities. The hotel may not be anything special, but it is nice enough, with... More

If you take your drinks up the stairs 2 more flights you are on a deck pretty much the highest point on the island take a panorama of the whole place. ( this deck is probably not supposed to be used, but hey!). Super clean ( of course )... More
