Our family stayed here for over a week for spring break and had so much fun! We had both the garden house and the beach house to ourselves. It was perfect for 8 people (or more). The pool is a little small, but the chairs are comfy and you get to listen to the sound of the surf below. The... More

We absolutely loved this hotel for the sound of crashing waves and the sunrise views. We had some idea of potential downsides to expect, namely the intimate bathroom situation and the intermittent hot water issues, so we were perfectly happy with what we got. The room was kept very clean, the A/C worked well, and the mini-fridge came in handy.... More

This is my favorite place in Isla Mujeres. The hotel is quite basic, yet the island is no place to seek luxury. The view is fantastic, the staff is courteous yet not overly attentive, which is perfect for the kind of place it is. To me it's like the perfect getaway place to be with that loved one. Close to... This was our first stay at Hotel Rocamar and were pleasantly surprised! This hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the location is perfect!! We stayed on the third floor in room 14 and it was quiet. The best thing about this hotel is the ocean view and being able to have your balcony door open to... More

Pros: Everything was very clean, the view was amazing, and the hotel is within easy walking distance to the store, street food, shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The pool area is also very nice with plenty of lounge chairs and a large area not open to the public. There is no swimming beach, but the lounge area overlooks the ocean. Cons:... More

Hi. I thought I would share a quick and somewhat funny experience on the Hotel Rocamar on Isla Mujeres. We were there from March18-25th. The rate for the hotel was reasonable at $85.00 per night tax incl(usd) The Hotel staff were really friendly the property and rooms very clean. We quite enjoyed the location close to town behind the church... More

We stayed in a ocean view room on the 3rd floor for 4 nights in March. The rooms were spacious, simple and clean. The view of the ocean with an uninterrupted horizon was beautiful - the waves were loud, but it certainly didn't keep us up at night. We asked for a room on the 3rd floor which meant no... More

We stayied in Hotel Rocamar during Christmas. It was very relaxing to fall a sleep listening the ocean. And having breakfast in the balcony looking at waves. Location is excellent, peaceful and still a short walk to the Hidalgo or to the beach. We like to go jogging in the mornings, so Rocamar gave us just perfect location for that.... More

Just returned from 6 days at the Rocamar . View makes up for the lack of water pressure and the glass walled bathrooms. Close to downtown buy quiet. Can't beat drinking coffee on the balcony while you watch the sun rise. If bells and whistles are what you need, this would not be the place for you,if however you value... More
