It's a great hotel, in a great location for the price.The free wifi means a lot.The view was awesome. The room we had booked showed a see through shower,no AC. We did not get a room with a see through shower but we did get the AC,I wasn't complaining.Room was clean,no insects etc.comfy bed.

4th time to Isla and 1st time staying at the Rocamar. Lovely Hotel and we will return again. No beach to sit at but the view is great. Only a few blocks to north beach so it was not a problem. Very close to all the restaurants and bars in town.

It was wonderful to step out onto our balcony and see all the blue sky and blue green water... until you turned and saw the icky parking lot and the turtle fountain that was full of garbage. Exactly what I wanted (ocean front with balcony) & perfect location.  Room 29 had a separate updated bathroom (not glass).  I loved the hammock on the balcony & yes there is a trick to opening the sliding doors.  I actually enjoyed the wifi in the common area--it provided socialization amongst guests.  Rockamar provides filtered water (to fill your water bottles)...
