Best rooms are second and third floor.Beautiful view of the ocean. Avoid the first floor. Really liked it there, would definitely stay again. Two blocks from the ferry dock and close to the downtown area. The only downside to the hotel is the older woman that manages it. She is cold and crabby and stifflles the ambiance of the place.

Hotel was average at best!! Clean rooms mostly! Staff not friendly! Shower water trickled at best and either froze you or scalded you. WIFI barely worked! View from Ocean view was awesome! Golf Cart parking awesome! Beach towels awesome! Fridge and safe Awesome!! Rooms air conditioning awesome. Price was very fair for what you got!! If you are a person... More

we stayed at the Rocamar and had a great time. The hotel is quiet and the views amazing. The staff could be more welcoming and friendly. It would be helpful if they would wear name tags so guests could address them by name. We would definitely return.

Stayed for two nights in December in a King room facing the sea, which is a stone's throw away. The room is minimalist but attractive and clean. Bed was very comfortable and everything worked well including the WiFi. The balcony was absolutely great. Lounging in the hammock, and listening to the waves, while watching the sunrise was magnificent. Morning coffee... More

We shared the Garden House with my parents. The Garden House has two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two doubles. Each room has its own bathroom. Between the bedrooms is a nice-sized eat-in kitchen and small living area with a futon. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and responsive to... More

My husband and I just spent 5 days in Isla Mujeres and choose this hotel for its location and the sea views. We had room 27, which they call a suite but is just a very large room with a funny little jacuzzi tub on the balcony. We didn't use the balcony as much as we thought we would because... More

Firstly, this location has a wonderful view of the sunrises over the Caribbean Sea. The lobby, staircases, lounge, and room entrances are all exposed to the outdoors, which is just a lovely and casual feeling. Unfortunately, while we stayed during mid-January, we had to spend too much time in the lobby. It was the only reliable place to access Wi-Fi... More

We had a room on the second floor. Great views and convenience to shops, beaches, and restaurants was perfect. Close enough to walk easily, but far enough away to get peace and quiet when you want. We walked and rented a golf cart to see the whole island, and I didn't see another hotel, for the price, I would have... More

If you're just looking for a place to sleep on Isla Mujeres this is a great place to stay. Its close to downtown bars and restaurants and close to beaches. Though I did forget my hairdryer, I went to the front desk to get one and apparently the entire hotel shares one!! Otherwise the hotel is clean, affordable and the... More
