We totally loved this hotel and it's location. It's a short walk straight across the island from the ferry terminal. And it's located right on the waterfront. The only thing separating the hotel from the water is the waterfront boardwalk. It was awesome hearing the water crashing just feet from the room and watching the sunrise from the hammock on... Stayed here for a week. A few minutes walk up the hill from the ferry terminal and just around the corner from the supermarket and centre of the tourist section. Great views of the sea. Very affordable a basic enough hotel but we'll worth it.

We stayed 7 th to 11 th December 2014. The hotel is quite small and the staff are all efficient & friendly. We stayed on a room only basis but free coffee, tea, water were available all day & they offer a microwave which we did not use but is a nice touch. The room was clean and adequate, we... More

Great value, neat clean room with a gorgeous view and the waves crashing at night. Very quiet relaxing. Short walk to the beautiful beach and main town..we had the top floor which was great but there are stairs to get down and can be tiring for older folk. Wifi is okay but we managed, we were on a 3 month... More

Arrived yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find oceanfront room # 18 waiting for me.I was not expecting to be in such a large room since I booked thru Orbitz and have found in the past that you usually don't get the best room. But it was only for 1 nite until my original booking was ready today. I must say... More

Decent value in a location away from most other lodging ...short walk from ferry pier. Got the bottom floor which sits below the walk way of the beach so you will hear and seepeople walking by. Wifi is weak on this level. Room is clean with bland stark decor. Not cozy or inviting but at least iit is clean. Check... More

Had another good stay at the Rocamar. Room clean and staff friendly and helpful. Seems a pretty good deal for the price and so close to everything. We really could not have asked for a better hotel for the cost.

The sea view from the rooms is absolutely outstanding - would recommend to everyone. The hotel has recently been renovated it seems, so our rooms were completely new, clean and modern, including the toilet. The balcony on the sea was very nice, though the wind can be strong and therefore loud, but it did not bother us. The only problem... More

We stayed at this lovey hotel in November 2014. It was easy to find. (When exiting from the main ferry exit walk straight ahead and cross the street. Continue on straight because you are on Calle Nicolas Bravo the street Rocamar is on. The hotel is small, welcoming and very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The maids cleaned... This place was the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Isla Mujeres and skip the all-inclusive route. It's super affordable and has all the basic necessities, not to mention, the BEST view on the island for sure. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Rocamar on October 25-30, and have absolutely no complaints about our stay. The... More
