We had a room on the second floor. Great views and convenience to shops, beaches, and restaurants was perfect. Close enough to walk easily, but far enough away to get peace and quiet when you want. We walked and rented a golf cart to see the whole island, and I didn't see another hotel, for the price, I would have... More

If you're just looking for a place to sleep on Isla Mujeres this is a great place to stay. Its close to downtown bars and restaurants and close to beaches. Though I did forget my hairdryer, I went to the front desk to get one and apparently the entire hotel shares one!! Otherwise the hotel is clean, affordable and the... More

At the time I wanted to give them one star. After 12 hours of travel, we arrived at Rocamar check-in to an awkward situation in which some guests with reservations were being told that there was no room available for them. Then same thing that eventually happen to us. They overbooked their rooms - but they lied and said it... More

My husband, mother and I stay at Rocamar during Spring Break (March 10-17, 2014). My husband and I stay on the second floor on a room with a king size bed. My mom had a room with two double beds. Our rooms were clean and the bed was so comfortable. One of the reasons I picked Rocamar was because I... More

Our room faced the ocean, what a wonderful way to start the day with the roar of the waves crashing on shore and the most amazing sunrises. We were on our honeymoon and also had a spiritual wedding ceremony booked. The staff were great and surprised us with a bottle of wine on our wedding day.. I highly recommend this... More

We stayed in one of the Rocamars separate suites across from the pool. It was a great 2 bedroom 2 bath with kitchen mother-in-law type suite with wifi. We loved the location and the fact that there was a kitchen, which helped us save some pesos while allowing us to make our own meals. The pool is pretty shallow but... More

I liked Rocamar more than I expected I would. The location is terrific -- right on the ocean, and a very short walk to town. The ocean there is rocky and a big rough, so it is not a place where you can swim. But the views are terrific, and I liked hearing the sound of the waves. Sitting on... More

Visited during the Christmas / New Year holiday time and it was fully booked. We were arriving late and called ahead. The receptionist said she was waiting for us which was great. Room was big and simple, but included a TV and even heater. Had a town view room facing the road but it was fine for us. The ocean... More

We were really pleased with this hotel the value for money is great for what you get. Location is not far from the ferry and bars and restaurants, we enjoyed the walk through them to get to the south beach. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday!!! We had a lovely view of the sunrise and we booked... More

We totally loved this hotel and it's location. It's a short walk straight across the island from the ferry terminal. And it's located right on the waterfront. The only thing separating the hotel from the water is the waterfront boardwalk. It was awesome hearing the water crashing just feet from the room and watching the sunrise from the hammock on...
