Casa El Pio is a small but very lovely house with only about a half dozen rooms but it is very warm and welcoming and they have very high standards. We only stayed a few nights but we loved the light spacious rooms and the views from the roof terrace were truly wonderful. The town and the beach are all... More

This was my second stay at Casa el Pio. Absolutely love staying here. It is in a great location, beautiful large Zen like rooms, very peaceful and serene. Every detail is accounted for- drinks in refrigerator, coffee, Turkish towels and carry bag for the beach. And the newly completed rooftop space gives one gorgeous views. Sally, the manager is the... My family of three stayed here over New Years. What a fantastic spot! A great, spacious room big enough for three. The décor of the room is great, lovely furniture and photographs. The hotel is well located with easy access to beaches and the Centro. The highlight for us was the rooftop area. We spent a lot of time on... More

We were happen to check in by accident when there were closed, so they stayed in constant clear communication via email and also had personal signage and instructions, plus super cute refreshments waiting for us upon arrival. Sally, the manager was available and helpful with her tips and clearly went out of our way to personalize our experience. The details... More

The Pio was wonderful, it was: bright, quiet, clean, close to the northern beach, the central shopping districts, as well as the harbor (seriously a 5 min walk), not to mention wonderfully staffed (thanks Sally). I can't wait to return as our 7 night stay was not nearly enough.

Casa El Pio is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed on vacation. It's a beautiful building with just four or five apartments, each impeccably clean, and stylishly yet simply decorated. Our room, #4, had incredible views of the water. There is a fantastic roof top deck area for everyone to enjoy, as we spent hours up there. The... More

Casa el Pio is easy, breezy, beautiful. A totally unassuming, cozy, and calming place with a very kind hostess who was nice enough to wait for us when our flight was delayed, and who gave us great tips on dining etc around the island. We had everything we needed while staying. Lots of peace and quiet. Steps from the main... More

Isla Mujeres was our first stop in the Yucatan Peninsula and we have to admit it might have been our favourite. Hillary was such a great host, super down to earth and warm and friendly. We had an outstanding welcome and quick tour of the grounds including a breathtaking view from the newly renovated rooftop terrace! Casa el Pio is... More
