The location is wonderfully isolated from the touristy San Miguel in Cozumel. It is the only hotel that I'm aware of on the entire side of the island. The view is unlike anything I have ever seen before. The ultra-low light pollution gives views of the sky I have never seen before, and I live in rural Ohio. The view... More

I needed to get away by myself for a short trip and Ventanas al Mar provided the solitude and peace I needed in my life at the time. This is a jewel on the East side of Cozumel. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The facility itself has one of the best views of the ocean I've ever seen... More

I have been coming to the island for several years and always have wanted to stay here. So this trip I booked it for one night just to "try" it out. Well after being there for about a hour we let them know that we would be staying a extra day ! The hotel and staff are amazing. I had... More

We just returned from 4 days at this resort that was sooo relaxing! The hotel is built on a small cliff so there was constant soothing crashing waves and a wonderful ocean breeze at all time made for perfect sleeping conditions, if you enjoy sound hike you sleep. Don't be concerned about the lack of a/c. You won't need it.... More

We came here to get away from real world and enjoyed exactly what we were looking for. The beach is rough but nice, the views are spectacular and having breakfast on the balcony listening to the waves is priceless! This hotel really delivers the "island feeling" that Cozumel is known for.

I picked this hotel after doing a lot of research about guest ratings, value, uniqueness, etc. When we first got here, I was a little nervous because it was so windy it sounded like a hurricane in our room! Luckily the weather cleared up the rest of the week and it was nothing but the relaxing sound of waves, and... More

My wife Dr. Yazmin and I love this hotel. We have been coming here for over 6 years and as locals, we find this hotel is a great way to escape from our jobs in town. Peaceful, quiet, and a true romantic spot to unwind. The long-time staff are always incredibly friendly people. The mornings come with an authentic Mexican... More

My boyfriend and I spent 7 amazing days at Ventanas Al Mar located on the quiet, peaceful east side of Cozumel with friends that have stayed at Ventanas now 3 years in a row. Ventanas is like a "bed and breakfast" on the ocean. It's eco friendly and powered by a generator. All the rooms have a balcony (with chairs)... More

We had a pleasant 4 day stay at Ventanas Al Mar. It is located right next to Coconuts on the east side of the island and offer rooms that have breath-taking views of the ocean. This is a no-frills hotel, but is really a nice place to come and relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the... More
