This is not a place i would recommend to my friends and family back home! No service whatsoever and the rooms weren't nice at all. It was my first time in Cozumel and I'm not going there again, especially not in that hotel.

This is not a place i would recommend to my friends and family back home! No service whatsoever and the rooms weren't nice at all. It was my first time in Cozumel and I'm not going there again, especially not in that hotel.
what a great little hotel! the staff made us feel like family. coco, the waiter, groundskeeper, bellhop etc, was a great guy. the room was a second floor ocean view with a nice balcony, a huge bed, and plenty of storage. no electric during the day, but we hardly noticed. after all, there was no tv, mini fridge or other...

Wife & I rode past this place on a scooter in 2011 and decided we HAD to come back and stay here asap. This Feb 2012 we returned with our two daughters (12 & 4) for a family vacation.
As soon as we pulled up the resident housekeeper/chef Coco & manager Lupita welcomed us with warm smiles. In fact the...

Ventanas is not everyone's cup of tea. It's located on the far side of Cozumel right on the ocean and the breeze is strong and the waves roar in the night. There's only electricity for 3 hours a night, the restaurants on that side of the island close around 6. We spent one night there since we thought we'd want...

This hotel is for those who really want to relax. Its charm is its breathtaking views and quietness. Lupita and Coco make you feel like family. The breakfasts are served on a beautiful patio overlooking fabulous ocean views. The breakfasts are healthy and proceed in a leisurely fashion that allow guests and staff the opportunity to become firm friends. Leave...

Just spent 3 days here, read some of the reviews that complained about the electricity, decided it wasn't a high priority, and once you get there is really isn't. If you're used to an all inclusive resort this isn't for you, if you're looking for an idyllic location, perfect service, complete solitude to spend with someone special then this is...

If you want to experience the most picturesque beautiful and relaxing place you have to check out Ventanas al Mar. We stayed here for the last three nights of our vacation in December 2011 and it was just the most incredible experience. This hotel is truly a delight for all your senses. It is just a feast for the eyes...

This was our second trip to Cozumel. We stayed at El Cozumeleno in Sept. 2011 for a week. It was fabulous! Our suite had a fantastic view of the beach. The only negative comment about this hotel was the bed was hard but this was remedied by requesting an egg crate mattress. The staff was great, especially Naomi who kept...

My wife and I had read the reviews and were not sure what to expect. We tried to reserve a room once we were on the island by e-mail but did not hear back, so we rented a car and went over to the 'dark' side of the island - no lights after 11 pm is wonderful! Coco, the all...
