This was my first trip to Cozumel. I have traveled to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. Casita de Maya was a warm welcoming boutique hotel. I felt as if I were at my house with friends. My aunt and I had the two adjoining room which is perfect for a family. After spending days intern or on the water,... More

We just came back from a great first visit to the beautiful island of Cozumel. And how greatful we are to have had the opportunity to stay at this cozy oasis. What can I say. Dan the owner was really great. We had no communication problems at all as he is Canadian. Which for us compaired to any other countries... More

Casita de Maya is a gem of a boutique hotel right in the heart of the real Cozumel. Just a few hundred feet from the airport and in the neighborhoods of Cozumel. The accommodations are nice and comfortable but it's about the people. From owner Dan to Daniel to Jolie, they are worth the trip to Cozumel. Casita de Maya... More

Our family of six stayed at Casita de Maya between Christmas and New Years and had a wonderful time. Dan is an incredible host and has a wealth of insider info to share. He set us up on the Ruta Playa shuttle to the east side of the island. We paid a fraction of what a taxi would have cost... More

My son and I came to scuba dive in Cozumel, and were pleasantly surprised at how good our stay at Casita de Maya was. The rooms were well furnished and location of the hotel near downtown. But what made the stay exceptional was the great service Dan, the owner, provided. He was a wealth of information about almost anything imaginable... More

The Hotel is really clean..has beautiful new rooms and is very open and spacious. I felt like a member of the family after being there for 4 days. The host Dan was very personable and helpful. I loved the dog Freddie also. Dan's staff were also very warm and friendly. I should mention that this Hotel borders the "real mexico"... More

I was looking for a small, out of the way place to stay in Cozumel. I was going to a quick dive vacation, and didn't want all the crowds and expense of a larger hotel/resort. I got exactly what I wanted. With just a handful of rooms, it's quaint (in the good way) intimate and just perfect if you want... More

This sweet place is great for a family friendly/couple getaway comfortable stay in Cozumel. It's a 5 minute walk from the airport and super close to the town and beaches. Dan is the 'perfect' host. He is very welcoming and extremely knowledgable about the area and activities. He got us a great deal on a rental car and he even... More
