We booked a week at the Melia. I'm not big on all-inclusives, but this one included golf. The cart fee is a bit excessive ($62 for 2), but the course is worth playing - not busy and replete with iguanas and a few crocodiles. Service at hotel & course was outstanding. We particularly appreciated Antonio (at the grill); Oscar at... More

We walked the approximate mile long beach, swam in the aqua waters of the Caribbean and adult pool of Melia, and enjoyed warmth for 10 days allowing our minds and bodies to rest completely. All the staff were friendly and we had genuine experiences with them. We were pleased with the selection of vegetables and there was always beef, pork,... More

Like many others, I read a lot of reviews before booking a resort and try and take them with a grain of salt knowing other's have different expectations and experiences which will not necessary line up with mine. I read a lot of mixed reviews for this resort, but I really liked the location and price and we decided to... More

This was the first vacation my wife and I took and we were very pleased with the hotel and the island in general. We were concerned at first with recent travel warnings in Mexico but Cozumel is extremely safe as it is an island far enough away from the mainland. Travel is Cozumels prime economic source so it only stands... More

Traveling with seniors, one requiring a wheelchair/walker, we decided on this resort as it appeared accessible and had elevators. We were placed in the newer low-rise building and that was perfect as we were closer to the amenities. However, accessibility to washrooms, were a challenge, let alone the front lobby/reception area. At the time we were there, they had managed... More

On the island of Cozumel, there is no more beautiful beach, view, and resort than the all-inclusive Melia. Relax, swim, stroll and snorkel as much or as little as you like. Dine in one of three food venues with all-day food and drinks available. A great value and a great vacation...Can't wait to go back,

I don't typically bother writing reviews but thought I would in this case as it there are not many reviews or information for golfers at Melia. Overall we found Melia a fantastic option for a beach and golf vacation. The golf course is a short walk from the resort (16 minutes when we timed it) so you can easily walk... More

We stayed at the Melia from March 28th to April 4th and had a great time and would certainly go back, this was our seventh trip to Cozumel and we would have to say this was the best so far. We flew with Canjet from Toronto at 5pm which was a good flight with good service and on time, we... More

Very nice property. Good value for the money; we spent just about twice as much on a trip to Grand Cayman last year for a similar experience. However, a warning about the sand fleas would have been appreciated. After our first full day, I had over 65 bites on my lower legs alone. I used bug spray after that, but... More

We Love Melia! A few tips... Don't bother eating chicken or steak while at the resort. I don't understand why people make that mistake?! You're next to the sea for crying out loud. So Stick with the sea food! So good! I wasn't crazy about the pool bar but the rest of the bars were great! Make reservations at 11am.... More
