I have stayed at this hotel every year since 2008. I adore Cozumel and consider it my winter home! We have stayed for longer extended periods of time and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. This hotel is owner occupied. Fabio, his wife, boy an girl occupy a suite on the 3rd floor. The staff has remained basically unchanged since we... More

This is a great hotel for the money, ocean views, complementary real breakfast and special attention for an amazing $900 mexican pesos in high season. A little outdated but clean, comfortable and amazing views with roof top pool.

Stayed eight nights with family and let me tell you, the price cant be beat, the staff is super to your needs and the breakfast is great too. I found a new home.....away from home. We would stay always at the big hotels and pay those big rates... this hotel is comfortable cheap and accomadating. If you stay on the... More

this is a cost effective hotel, that does not exceed its image should you require a hotel central, to your requirements and needs there are numerous shops gift and dive that provide you with what you would like, transport comes in the vain of local hire, or the more sedate that is horse drawn along the sea front for those... I really liked this hotel, we stayed for 6 nights to dive in Cozumel and was really pleased with the staff, location and accommodations. Surprisingly to us, there are lots of overpriced food choices in Cozumel. Having a free breakfast definitely helped, and it was pretty tasty most days. One day we got to select from a small menu. The... More

In giving this hotel 5 stars, I'm not claiming that it's a super luxurious place. What I mean is that if you are an independent, budget-minded traveler who has outgrown the hostel scene and wants a bit more space, comfort, and privacy, then this hotel is for you. The hotel is incredibly well located in the center of town, about... More

It does exactly what it says on the tin, great price, nice sunbathing pool area and breakfast was lovely. It will not win prizes for most luxurious hotel but the price reflected this and it's very close to the ferry port.

Stayed here for two nights. One at beginning of our trip and one at the end. Place was very clean and staff very nice. Breakfast started at 7am and was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. My only compliant was in one of our rooms an outside light shined into our room until 4am. Our curtains could not block... More

We stayed at the Hotel Plaza Cozumel in April of 2014 and overall enjoyed the stay. The hotel is perfectly situated in the plaza of San Miguel, it is convenient to everything, except the beaches. Most of the previous posts depict the hotel perfectly; there is nothing bad I can say. I will only leave you with this thought: if... More
