I have been staying at this hotel from time to time over 3 years. They recently implemented a 100 peso deposit for their TV remotes. The only thing is this is a none refundable deposit. When you hand in the remote they won't give back your deposit. Even if you point out they will lose the business of a regular... More

I have stayed at this little family-run gem of a modest hotel in Cozumel for over 25 years, and I think it's better than ever! And the price has hardly changed either - 25 years ago, a double AC room was about $22-24, and now it's only $30 - including tax! A measly $6 rate hike in 25 years is... More

Great choice for budget travelers at 450 pesos per night for a double room. 3 short blocks from the beach and pier. I think they could add some decoration to the patio sections to make it more welcoming.

We really liked this place. Central enough, freindly staff, well priced for a budget traveller in a place of few budget options. Free water and coffee, quiet and chilled out. It's not mega cheap but we couldn't find anyhthing cheaper on the island so were fine with no air con for 400. Good rooms, cable and fridge....happy

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was just what we needed. We stayed in the one room without A/C as that was all they had left when we arrived without a reservation. They offered us a change of room the next day but we were happy where we were and due to our budget it suited us as... More

I've been staying here for at least 20 years. the location is great ... just a few steps to anything you need. The beds are good, All the rooms have refrigerators. And AC ( I think). There is free internet which works best in the courtyard. There is coffee in the AM. The staff is very friendly and will all... More

It's a typical low-budget hotel: clean, nice, not fancy. It's far enough away from the central plaza that you can avoid the hawkers. Also, a great hole in the wall one block away. And free coffee in the am, which not every hotel had.

It's a LONG story why we stayed here for 1 night. For our purposes it worked great. You can walk to el pique taqueria, san fransico de asis (grocery store) and the ferry. All are just a few blocks away. The hotel is okay, I have seen worse but not much. if you want somewhere close to the downtown action... More
