This hotel offered a free breakfast as part of our stay at Suites Bahia. The buffet is a great mix of american and mexican traditional items.I enjoyed an omelet every day along with some tortillas and many other mexican dishes. Consistent and delicious every day!

as I was diving, it was ideal for the Tres Pelicanos dive club around the corner. great breakfast although couldnt feast every morning. ALL the staff are to be rated fabulous - reception - always smiling - , breakfast and bar staff and the housekeeping. Next time I would change for a sea view room - worth the extra Im... More

This is our second stay at the Casa Mexicana. We stayed here again in mid January when winter rain storms are common. The port was closed for several days and divers were not happy! The hotel was a dry and comfortable haven from the weather and vendors that line the streets. The ocean view deck/ pool area was well maintained... More

I've been to Cozumel a number of times. I saw the escalators but thought they belonged to the carpet store next door. When my taxi pulled up to hotel I was so surprised that those escalators were the entrance to the hotel. Beautiful open air hotel located overlooking the bay. Large tile floor rooms, clean and comfortable. Large balconies and... More

For divers and non-divers alike! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Very professional and ready to answer any questions you might have. The rooms are very big, tiled, most of them with a balcony! The best of all is the scrumptious breakfast! It starts from 7-11 on weekdays and 7-12 on Sunday's . It offers from various Mexican breakfast... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during a recent trip to Cozumel after booking online. The hotel is well located just a short walk from the ferry pier (to PDC) and one of the cruise liner terminals and within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and bars in downtown Cozumel. Rooms, and beds in particular, are large and... More

Great location if you are interested in wandering around town. Close to the ferry pier, close to the old plaza. Free wifi and it worked the entire stay. Liked our room which was simple but clean, bed was comfortable and there was a balcony/small patio with ocean view. Room had a mini fridge to stash cold drinks but no coffee... More

We have been coming to cozumel separately or together for 20 years. Some time ago we discovered Casa Mexicana in the center of town. It was a boutique hotel that did not cater to divers ... a big plus. My wife and I are avid divers but not like the usual divers who look for the lowest prices and dive... More

Great location right in town. Rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was great and workers were very friendly. Lobby was very big and clean. Rooms have great views. Only complaint is you have to park your rental car at shopping mall beside the hotel and it's a pretty good walk to mall.

I have made reservation for casa mexicana through tripadvisor because rate was a lot cheaper compare to other websites. But when I arrived at front desk to check in,I was told that it's reservation for smaller scale apartment type hotel called BAHIA suites which is owned by the same company located 2 blocks down the street. I have showed then... More
