We booked this trip through Apple Vacations because we have had several excellent vacations (including Mexico 4 times) with them. We are very well traveled and understand that things are almost never perfect, no matter where you go. People looking at the Wyndham Cozumel website should beware. There are two resorts at this location. Sabores is the adults-only resort and... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from our first real vacation in years. We chose this hotel due to the internet feedback. Boy, were we wrong!!!! After paying over the phone for round trip taxi or shuttle service to and from the airport, we got there and were made to pay AGAIN. Okay so no big deal. The website also... more

This was my first trip to Cozumel, other than as a port of call on a cruise. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a double bed ocean front room. Ha plenty of room to manuever around the room, even with all of our stuff. Room has a vaulted thatched roof. I loved it. We could throw a rock... more

It was bad from the start. It took one hour to get us checked in because they were trying to sell everyone. The service was terrible and the staff was rude. On vacation you should get served not have to get it yourself everytime. The food was ok and the room service was worst. No cable TV and the VCR... more

Ok. So, here's my take on the Wyndham. Personally, I have been all over Mexico....the Baja, La Paz, Cancun and back again. I've probably visited Mexico over 60 times in the past 25 years. Some places have changed dramatically and become quite exclusive. Other places have maintained what I affectionately refer to as the "Mexican" experience. In the past 10... more

My wife and I stayed at the Wyndham in mid June, 2008, for five nights. We'll start with the positives. It's a beautiful resort. We had an ocean front room, with excellent air conditioning, and loved the view and location. We had privileges for all three areas, the Regency Reef area, the Sabor area, and the regular Wyndham area, which... more

Where do I start? Let's see maybe with the sewer backing up all over the ground outside your room (all over the hotel). Or maybe with the lunch, dinner and part of the breakfast buffet being the same exact food. Leftovers??? Or one of our group being shocked and thrown across the room when she turned on the lamp in... more

I just returned from my trip at the Wyndham Cozumel Resort & Spa and have to say it was the worst resort I have ever stayed in. We read the reviews, but said to ourselves “How bad could it be”. Let me tell you. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS. This place is as bad as everyone says it is. I traveled... more

We just returned from our stay at the Wyndham. We were there June 16-20. We are a couple in our mid to late 20's with no kids. Check in went smoothly---we even got into our room early. We had a 1st floor room right on the beach (literally our door was maybe 10 feet from the sandy beach!). We went... more

Four of us just got home from a June 14-20 stay at the Wyndham Cozumel. To say I am extremely disappointed would be an understatement. This was our 4th trip to Cozumel and our first and last stay at any Wyndham properties. I will attempt to list a few of the many problems we encountered. First, they didn't have enough... more
