This was our 2nd trip to Cozumel. Earlier in the year two of my adult kids and I rented a condo in Corpus Christi for a diving trip. That's was definately a better bang for the $. Since my non-diving beach-crazed wife and non-diving other adult daughter came along I decided to do a AI resort w/beach and diving too.... More

We Just got back from the Iberostar Cozumel, and had a wonderful time. The staff is incredible, they are always looking for ways to help. The rooms are small, but more than adequate for two. They are well kept and cleaned. Ours was a little damp and musty smelling when we arrived, but the ceiling fan and air conditioner took... More

We stayed at the Iberostar Cozumel from 5-10 January, 2008. The resort is located about 15 km south of "downtown" Cozumel on the leeward coast. It's the last resort on the south end of the island, and is fairly secluded. The main entry area is open, with comfortable seating throughout and is where the internet and shop are located, as... We enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar on Cozumel. The hotel was very accomodating to our every need...5 rooms, ages raging from 13 to 81 years old. The only drawback is that you cannot enter the water from the beach, but the pool was very pleasant to swim and lounge in. Rent a car and drive the only road around... More

There have been lots of very thorough reviews on this site that cover everything you need to know, so I thought I would focus on what it was like being there with 3 young children: DD6, DS3, and DS1. GENERAL: We all loved the Iberostar. It was unbelievably beautiful, the people were friendly, and the service was great. I had... More

If the Iberostar advertised itself as a 4 star hotel Id have less complaints right now, but since it plasters the five stars on everything from its brochures to its napkins I found a number of problems impossible to forgive. The biggest problem (and this is a warning) is that there is no ocean to swim in at this hotel.... More

Stayed here 12-22-07 through 12-29-07, booked with Apple non-stop to Coz Int'l and avoided the ferry and taxi drives when flying into Cancun. USA3000 flight was delayed and served no food, so bring snacks. Avoid leaving US late nite, your 3 to 4 hour flight might turn into 6 to 8 hours. Customs a breeze, quick 15 minute trip to... More

We are in our mid thirties, travelling with a one year old... this place is PERFECT for young kids. They pool set up was excellent. There was 2 little pools, one ankle height, the other calf height which was perfect for our baby. He just sat and splashed in the water and had a blast. Staff was incredible. (especially Valeria)... What a terrific way to spend the crazy week before Christmas (17th-23rd) - unbelieveable price, delightful variety of people, outstanding staff, spectacular surroundings. I don't go for the food - but it was great - not gourmet. Better than I experienced 4 years ago at Allegro - a bit more variety from day to day. Judith, at the front desk... More

My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar in Cozumel the first week in December. That place is so wonderful. We had the best room ever. The rooms are not any big deal but location is everything. We found that staying at Iberostar instead of going into town was a good idea. Downtown is great for shopping but pretty crowded... More
