My new husband and I chose the Iberostar for our honeymoon based on reviews that we'd read on this site. We're glad we chose it, as we had an absolutely incredible time. The layout of the resort was terrific, with the 2 story buildings each having 8 rooms in them, and your own balcony/porch and hammock, which is great for...

This is the fourth Iberostar we've stayed in (others were in Varadero, Punta Cana, and Mayan Riviera). The resort is not as fancy/spectacular as those - It's a much smaller hotel, but we enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. We liked the one and two story huts - every room has a balcony with hammock (which our 10 year old daughter loved.)...

We went there for a week over Christmas 2011 and everything was wonderful.. and when I say everything... I mean *EVERYTHING*!!!!! The food was excellent, the rooms were great, the views were great, and the atmosphere was great as well... I would definitely say this is where you should stay if your going to Cozumel!!!!! We are ready to go...

We stayed at the Iberostar from Dec. 30 - Jan. 7/12, and we were very happy overall with our stay. The grounds are beautiful, with two story huts that you stay in, all spread out sort of like a little village. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean, with a great shower. We were happy with the food at...

We were at the Iberostar in Cozumel between December 24 - Jan 4 2011/12. The Hotel was wonderful. This hotel is not a big massive building but a series of four or two room cabins. The hotel has a small friendly environment. The grounds have beautiful gardens that we wandered through. There were flamingos in a pond and lizards to...

Affordable stay, but it never quite right.....
Positives: The bar staff, especially David, and the Dive staff were really fantastic folks.
We spent a week at the Iberostar and always had something grating/a bit off. The outdoor seating, beach or poolside, look like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The food was very repetitious even for an all-inclusive resort and...

We stayed at the Iberostar in early December. Although we have been to Cozumel multiple times and have always stayed at the neighboring resort the Occidental Grand, we decided to try the Iberostar this year. We were not disappointed!!
The quality of food far exceeded what we experienced the past few years at the Occidental Grand. The grounds of the...

Just got back from our first stay at Iberostar Cozumel. Only been to Carribean one other time (Mayan Riviera), so don't have much of a personal frame of reference. I can only compare to other reviews on here. Overall, I would say it was a beautiful resort which is great for divers, sun-worshippers looking for good value, and older families,...
