We went to Cozumel for a girls trip from April 30-May 4. We really liked the resort itself. The rooms were nice, the grounds are beautiful and well kept and the food was good. The main problem with the Iberostar is the beach/oceanfront. I had read that it was very rocky, but I didn't expect it to be as bad... more

The best vacation we have been on as a family. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Very relaxing with a hammock on each patio. The beds were a little hard but better that then sagging in the middle. The beach is sandy but you do need water shoes if you plan on going into the ocean... more

I cannot say enough good things about the resort and wedding planners at the Iberostar Cozumel. We had a meeting with the planners one afternoon and chose everything from flowers to hair, meals at the reception, music, and decorations. It was SO simple, and the girls were super friendly. The wedding day was gorgeous, and everything went smoothly. The photographer... more

We are in our 30's and selected the Iberostar Cozumel for our destination wedding. Most of our wedding party of 30+ were there for 5 days. The wedding part of our trip went smoothly and the onsite wedding coordinators made it easy to plan the whole wedding. We planned the flowers, minister, reception, reception dinner, DJ & music, beach layout,... more

Our adult family chose Cozumel last summer for the snorkeling and Iberostar for its reviews. We enjoy staying at nice, comfortable hotels. This was our best family trip ever. Cozumel is amazingly beautiful, quiet, and safe. We rented a jeep, drove the island, and enjoyed meeting the people. The Iberostar met all our expectations in food, courtesy, cleanliness, and snorkeling.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Grand in Riviera Maya in October 2007 (which is one of the finest Iberostar properties) and KNEW NOT TO EXPECT the same level of service and ammenities at this resort when we booked. At that resort (Riviera Maya), there are other properties that connect to each other. We spent time at some... more

After arrival at the hotel , we were very happy with the staff at the front desk , Along came the bell boy and his oversized golf cart to wisk us off to our room ! (Room number 8204) As we arrived to our room which was a single story building , Just seconds from the pool and beach and... more

We have just returned from a week at Iberostar Cozumel. It was absolutely wonderful from a quick and hassle free check in to the personal service received during our stay and the efficient departure procedures on our check out day. While there, we enjoyed great food, beautiful gardens, outstanding service and great laughs with the Star Friends, who entertained tirelessly!... more

Having been to Cozumel and having stayed at other resorts there in the past, I was brutally disappointed by the rooms at the Iberostar. The beds are in fact very hard. The rooms are also incredibly small. The nightlife at the resort is almost non-existant. If you stay here and want to stay out past 9:30 pm, you'll need to... more
