Iberostar Cozumel was built approximately 30 years ago and as a result is starting to show its age. Having said that there are also a few pros attending a resort that has been around for awhile. This hotel is an amazing value! The Iberostar is located on the southwest corner of the island and is one of many all inclusive... More

This was my second stay at the Iberostar Cozumel. I was hoping the resort would be as amazing as I had rmembered, I was not disappointed. The check in was flawless and quick. Just enough time for the bartender to mix a tray of welcome drinks. There were three of us (myself and my kids ages 16 &17) so we... More

First time trying this chain and this location in Mexico. Pros.. 1. Had a suite by the beach and it was one of our favorite rooms by far. Beautifully decorated, kept spotless and loved the daily towel decorations. Bed was extremely comfortable and a/c worked perfect. 2. Pool bar had the best mojitos ever! 3. Really cozy lounge... met a... More

The resort is a little bit dated, but slowly being renovated and well-maintained. The grounds are immaculate and I love the wildlife. The food is generally good, and the rooms are nice. This place is geared more for adults than it is for kids (which is nice). The snorkeling is so-so, but that’s because the best stuff to see is... More

The staff was friendly. However, some of the newer staff did not speak English well. The grounds were well kept. There were a decent amount of activities. The room was decent but not great. Wish I would have elected for an upgraded room. My biggest problem was with the food. I expect to receive high quality Mexican food while at a... More

Preface: I'm picky and I have high expectations. I do not typically stay at high-end resorts, but I expect my resort/hotel to be well maintained, extremely clean and comfortable. I wasn't expecting Iberostar to be the Four Seasons....I also wasn't expecting it to be motel 6 either. I'm honestly confused by all the great reviews this hotel receives. I feel... More

A group of 12 visited Iberostar the last week of February. We arrived late on a Saturday night and were greeted promply and with a cocktail. Check in was quick and we were escorted to our rooms. On first glance I was not impressed with our room and was very confused as how I was going to find it again.... More

The hotel location and size was perfect and not too crowded. There were a lot of activities to do and the staff were very friendly. The highlight of our trip was going to Albertos beach bar and grill. They have a live band every Tuesday and Thursday and play a good variety of music. A good selection of Beer also....you... More

I was part of a three-family trip over Spring Break to the Iberostar Cozumel. We really enjoyed our time at this resort -- it was the perfect place to bring our 5 teenagers with lots of activities, a fun and attentive staff and great rooms. We stayed in the "family rooms" -- basically adjoining hotel rooms with a king bed... More

We visited Iberostar Cozumel 3/7-3/14/15. The grounds are tropical, well maintained, and beautiful. The wildlife unsurpassed. Absolutely gorgeous! ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: We were checked in quickly and taken to our room by golf cart. We didn't get to the resort until late Saturday night, so there was no waiting line. When we checked out, there was a short line, but... More
