Just returned from a ladies week away in Cozumel. The resort is beautiful with lots of birds, reptiles and cats roaming the property. The hotel has a cat program where they feed, vaccinate and neuter feral cats. This allows cats to run the property and keep rodents down, while allowing guests to have friendly felines to play with. If you... More

This was our first Iberostar and we were very happy with total experience at this resort! the grounds made you feel like you were in a jungle! The wildlife was great, even saw wild pigs at night! The food was great especially the steak house. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, would recommend this resort to couples and... More

We just arrived back from the Iberostar and wanted to put my thoughts down before I had a chance to forget. First and foremost the staff is excellent, attentive to needs, wanting to help where possible, and a credit to the resort for sure. Second, the food. For being a buffet and all inclusive we thought the food was excellent,... More

We arrived early January, 2015. The resort is less than 1/2hr from the airport, quick check in. Nice lobby, main bar right there. All our requests were accommodated; quiet room, king bed and 2nd floor. Building 36. The resort is 12-15 years old so don’t expect new but it was maintained and quite fine for us. Maintenance staff was quick... More

This was our first all-inclusive, so I'll just tell you about our experience without any filter (i.e.,without adjusting up/down for it being an all inclusive). We chose this hotel because we wanted to take a dive vacation and it as a dive shop on site and is close to many of the best reefs. We had a great time and... More

This was our first stay at the Iberostar Cozumel and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The resort was the perfect size, big enough to feel exciting and small enough to be charming. The variety and abundance of food was outstanding; breakfast especially was full of delicious choices. There was always food available no matter the time of day, which makes it... More

I stayed in Iberostar Cozumel with my diving buddy for one week. The location is good and peaceful, if you don't want to hang around in the city center of Cozumel. This hotel is about 30 mms from Cozumel downtown area and in the middle of nowhere. Ok for us, because we just came here to dive. There are several... More

This was our second trip to Cozumel but our first to the Iberostar. Best part was the location. It is located south from San Miguel and the main cruise line ports in a jungle type setting. The resort features bungalow type rooms with a hammock on each porch. Felt very secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife roaming around including iguanas,... More

I visited the Iberostar Cozumel in the first week of January with my husband, parents, brother and family which included a 1-year-old, 2-year-old and 7-year-old and we all had a fantastic time! RESORT: No big condo style buildings here...all very cute little cottage type buildings consisting of an average of 4 rooms. Some have a second floor as well. Some... More

We go to Cozumel at least once a year for scuba diving. We usually stay closer to town; e.g., Casa Mexicana, Hotel Cozumel, or Hotel Barracuda, all budget or mid-range hotels. (Barracuda is THE budget hotel, but that's OK, 'cause we're diving!) We decided to try something different and stayed at this southern-most, all-inclusive resort, several miles south of town....
