I thought the place was excellent. Theres a definite different feel to the place. Much more like a resort than an all inclusive hotel. It never got old waking up and going on the balcony for a smoke while watching peacocks and iguanas rome around you. Yeah the rooms smelled alittle musty but you get used to it. We were... More

I have just returned from a great week at the Iberostar. I continue to like Iberostar properties as they have an excellent level of service. The staff is just fantastic!! We were truly satisfied with the meals, the drinks, housekeeping, all the staff and the cleanliness of both the room and all the grounds at this resort. Our room was... More

I was pleasantly surprised about this resort. We had such a great time. All the staff do whatever it takes to make the stay memorable. The food is excellent. The drinks are amazing. My glass was never empty. The shows at night were really great. When arriving we were thinking of upgrading, but our check in lady was honest and... More

First time in Mexico! It was a really good vacation! I will break it all down: Food and drink: Yum! I totally put on weight while I was away! There are 2 buffets and 3 A la carte restaurants. The Breakfast and dinner buffet is near the front desk. It is an international buffet and even for picky eaters, there... More

The resort had our reservation wrong, thinking we were coming the following day. Edward, a desk clerk efficiently resolved the issue and even got us the ground floor room we had requested via email. Unfortunately, that room turned out to be very musty and we went back to the desk to request a change which was quickly granted with an... More

We had a room up near the main lobby where the foliage is dense and it had a musty smell. The lamp shades had black splotches on them. We were able to move to a suite near the pool that is in the sun. No musty smell there; beautiful room. The food was very good. Availability of food anytime day... More

Loved the grounds, especially the "bungalow" type of smaller buildings, landscaping added to the overall atmosphere. However normal rooms were small and disappointing, upgrade if you can. Food and spirits good, main dining room and steak house were better than then other 2 options. Don't plan on swimming or snorkeling right off the beach, rocky and murky. Cozumel is famous... More

Dear guest, Thank you very much for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor. We are happy to hear that you could enjoy our cozy facilities and landscaping. Beach entrance is rocky because we are located near the reef area; it is a natural protected area which is one of our main features! As we make daily efforts to preserve the... More

Excellent resort with great customer service, food & entertainment. Best resort we've ever stayed at so far in the Caribbean We hosted a group of over fifty couples and the resort did an outstanding job from day one to our last. What very few minor issues we encountered were promptly handled & done over & above our expectations.

We just got back from this resort w a group of 60, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They had a wide variety of food that everyone enjoyed, the grounds were very tropical and attended to w perfection (which I love to see because you know they take pride in their resort). Oh, and the staff...did I mention the... More

The rooms at this resort are duplexes with complex paths which is a lot of fun. Lots of people get lost looking for their rooms at first, but I think this just adds to the adventure. Lots to see while you wonder. Peacocks, Iguanas, flamingos, turtles and pigs. There are also parrots in the resort not native, but come out to... More
