Only a few blocks from the ferry. If you have a lot of bags, you might want a cab but we walked with our roller suitcases. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. On our first day, they watched our bags when we arrived prior to check-in, recommended a delicious (and... More

My wife and I just got back from our 10 day stay at the Hacienda San Miguel. We were completely happy with the service and quality of the hotel. Eduardo and Linda were wonderful and very helpful with all our needs. Eduardo helped us arrange scooters, snorkel tours, and laundry services. Beautiful courtyard and simple, homey, clean Mexican suite. We... More

Located in the north of town, it's a bit quieter than downtown for sure. The courtyard is gorgeous, and you will definitely want to spend some time there reading or browsing. We got two queen beds, a bit hard like all Mexican beds, but we slept well. We had a small kitchen with fridge. When you check in, select a... More

We, the husband and I stayed two nights, and our room was spacious, airy, the king size bed comfy with plenty of pillows...and everything was clean. Shower was roomy, water warm/hot, as with other places on the island tp was expected to go in the 'trash' ....not get flushed, not really a big deal.....made sense once you remembered they are... We stayed at HACIENDA SAM MIGUEL for two weeks and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! The staff was AMAZING!! They delivered our breakfast to our room every morning. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL AND SPOTLESS. Our room was great! We stayed in the room named JASMINE. The room had great WIFI, air conditioner, a fully stocked kitchenette, two queen beds, a private restroom,... More

We flew our plane into Cozumel Airport but once we did the Mexican paper work shuffle it was too late to continue to our destination of Chichen Itza. A cab driver took us here as we needed a hotel that would take us and our small dog for 1 night. We arrived at the front desk and asked the night... More

Traveled during Christmas of 2008, so I am a little behind on my review. Hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Overlooking the square in San Miguel, this hotel gem was a great getaway from the more touristy hotels. It gave me a great opportunity to practice my Spanish, and the employees were more than glad to assist me... More

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Hacienda San Miguel. We felt at home in the Girasol room, slept well, ate well (great restaurants close by) and were able to walk everywhere. This hotel has only 11 rooms, so it feels like a big house with an outdoor room (the courtyard) in the middle. We sat outside for breakfast, and for... More

We stayed here March 25-31. We typically stay at the sister hotel Vista Del Mar but it was full so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Hotel features traditional Spanish-Colonial style. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Rooms are clean and the Staff is wonderful! It was wonderful to see some familiar faces... More

If you are looking for something a little more authentic then this is the place for you. We spent 5 nights at Hacienda San Miguel. Apparently we got one of the soon to be renovated rooms. Clean, but a little tired looking. Really needed a fan in the room. There are many long term expats that stay here, so its... More
