We stayed here our first two days in Cozumel because of reviews I had seen on Trip Advisor. The staff, food and drinks were very good, but the location is very noisy. We couldn't sleep the nights we were there because of all the street noise all night long. Divers need their sleep so I would not recommend this location.... More

I recently returned from a dive trip at Blue Angel Hotel. I have nothing but good things to say. This is a diving hotel-pure and simple. The rooms are nice and functional, but don't have extras. But then again, the cost of the rooms and diving is by far the best value in Coz, so I didn't expect a butler... More

My wife and I recently stayed with Blue Angel for the 5th time. The reason we have stayed there is because we have always enjoyed it. It seems they are losing their charm. Maybe because we've been there often, but a few of the things we feel they are starting to lack. 1) Customer service at the dive shop isn't... More

My dive buddy and I spent 11 days in August at this little gem of a dive resort. We chose the Blue Angel based on recommendations from fellow divers we met during previous stays in Cozumel and based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and we are glad we did! The rooms are basic but perfectly adapted for divers, with... More

We love this little hotel! the food is so good here and the staff is wonderful! This was our second Cielo cruise with them and if you want some good fun then do it! Tony is the most amazing host! Your drink is never dry and they serve you the best food and take you to some of the most... More

We were going diving as a family of 4 and had no clue where to stay. We researched a number of places and were planning on staying at an "all inclusive". The more research we did, the less we liked our options. The more we read about Blue Angel, the more we were intrigued... we asked ourselves, "how can that... More

With a short weekend of rain and cool weather in Chicago ahead, we decided to beeline to Cozumel for 24 hours of warmth on my airline employee passes. We were not disappointed! The Blue Angel Resort is an ideal setting on Cozumel; close to the airport (walk to the street and pay only $10 for a 15 minute cab ride),... More

We booked 3 nights at the Blue Angel 3 years ago. Our room was on the first floor facing the pool and the ocean. It was very quaint, It was furnished kind of like a Robinson Cruseau room. I t kind of reminded us of the room at the Grand Teton Mountain resort. The furniture was very unique . The... More

Our stay this year was from 7/26 thru 8/3. This was our 7th time to stay at Blue Angel Resort over the last 9 years. We absolutely LOVE the place! The hotel is very quaint with all 22 rooms facing the beautiful ocean! The hotel staff are wonderful, helpful and very attentive! For a family of divers, for us, there... More

I've been going to the Blue Angel for at least a dozen years now, and they just keep getting better each year. Originally a diver's dive, after Hurricane Wilma in 2005 they upgraded to what is now a rustic resort that will even make non-divers in your group happy. Very important, they have good beds with pillowtop mattresses, good pillows,... More
