A group of five of us stayed at the Tamarindo B&B in the Caribe suite and the Cayomito room. Both were excellent with comfortable beds and good AC. All the rooms seem to come with a small patio area which was great for a relaxing evening. The fridge worked great for keeping our cervesas cold and the little kitchenette in... More

This is my second time I stay at Tamarindo. I was so pleased two years ago that I decided to return for a peaceful, fun, week vacation. The B&B is conveniently located close by the down town area with plenty of restaurants and other activities such the Yoga Studio and the nice museum. My room was luminous, spacious and clean... Nice architecture in white and blue with mexican touch, great patio, open kitchen, large and clean rooms with all the comfort and AC. Eliane is a very good and friendly host, gives you helpful tips about diving and visiting the island. It felt like home with my three fellow travelers and we enjoyed the ideal location of Tamarindo B&B, a... More

I stayed a few days at Tamarindo and was really grateful i found it. The room was large, very clean, and nice hot showers. There is a great kitchen for everyone to use and a nice patio to eat. Eliane is a friendly host and it is an easy place to meet other travelers. It was very convenient to lots... More

As travelers booking travel we are naturally wary of unscrupulous business practices. We definitely wish there was a way to sort the underhanded from the professional businesses. My review is to share that Tamarindo B&B is a fair and professionally operated business. I reserved a stay at Tamarindo B&B before I had solidified my travel plans to take advantage of... More

The big problem I encountered while staying at the Tamarindo was when I woke up a little after 6am a man was in my room stealing my dive computer and a small bag. I had woken up a bit earlier and half-asleep forgot to relock my door. I was able to chase him and he dropped my belongings before he... More

This review is for Tamarindo II, the longer-term units. Sorry I couldn't find that page to leave a review! Stayed here for 4 nights with my Dad and sister, and the place was perfect for the 3 of us. Stocked, open kitchen, with blender (homemade smoothies, how could you not?) filtered water, etc. George was so nice, welcomed us with... More

Eliane had built this bed and breakfast with lots of love over the years from foundation up. While the rooms are not fancy, they all have different charms and lots of features that are unique. She is also great at giving good information and helps pointing guests to good companies in the are to use. We were recommended to do... More

We chose this place for its location: far away from the cruiseships, at walking distance from the Centre but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The room was pretty, the aircon and the fan did its job (trust us after 4 nights at other places without aircon this was a relief! It has a fridge. The grounds are pretty.... More

I've stayed at Tamarindo many, many times. I actually put my family up here when I got married. Eliane, the owner, is unfailingly polite, courteous, and grab her breakfasts while you can. The crepes are lovely. We have stayed in almost every room over the years: palapa, rear garden, front rooms. They all have their benefits. The back garden is... More
