Eliane had built this bed and breakfast with lots of love over the years from foundation up. While the rooms are not fancy, they all have different charms and lots of features that are unique. She is also great at giving good information and helps pointing guests to good companies in the are to use. We were recommended to do... More

We chose this place for its location: far away from the cruiseships, at walking distance from the Centre but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The room was pretty, the aircon and the fan did its job (trust us after 4 nights at other places without aircon this was a relief! It has a fridge. The grounds are pretty.... More

I've stayed at Tamarindo many, many times. I actually put my family up here when I got married. Eliane, the owner, is unfailingly polite, courteous, and grab her breakfasts while you can. The crepes are lovely. We have stayed in almost every room over the years: palapa, rear garden, front rooms. They all have their benefits. The back garden is... More

Such a lovely B&B, very well kept, nice rooms, great sitting areas outside. I stayed in a room with a shared kitchen, which was well equipped and perfect. In a great location, near a lovely bakery and not far from the sea. Lovely owner with great restaurant tips. Would stay again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in June as recommended by a local friend who knows the owner. Located 4 or 5 blocks from the sea front. Super cute B&B (within gated walls which made it feel secure) although due to low season and the owner being away no breakfast was included. Amazing little tropical garden with hammocks and... More

I loved staying at Tamarindo because of its location and home feel. We met some great people who stayed in the next room, had access to a shared kitchen and some hammocks to chill out on. The rooms were very clean and well kept. I would definitely stay there again!

After spending a few nights in Cozumel we decided to stay a few nights longer to continue diving. We were referred to Tamarindo by our dive instructor. Eliane was extremely accommodating in extending our stay! We stayed in Palapa Bed and Breakfast. The suite is comfortable, clean and private, with an option for ceiling fan or A/C.

A snafu with our original flight out of Cozumel gave us an unexpected couple of extra days. We called up Elaine at the Tamarindo and fortunately she had a room. I had found this place online after booking our stay at an all-inclusive resort and had filed it away for our next trip to the Island, and remembered it when... More

Another great stay at Tamarindo 2, everything exactly as advertised, clean, spacious suite. Eliane the owner is very easy and sweet to work with and Luis, the caretaker, takes an interest in making sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. This place is an excellent lodging value for us when in Cozumel. Thanks again Eliane.

Little bungalow on a quiet secure property with a total of 4 units. Tucked away in the garden area. Perfect for 2 people. Full kitchen, King bed, A/C in 2 places, plenty of space. Loved staying here. Eliane and Luis are great - helpful and responsive. Close to town (rental car a benefit) - on the South side, just past... More
