My wife and me were here when RINA was stirring up trouble in the gulf. The dolphins were brought to the pool. Never did we feel unsafe or uninformed. The staff just kept marching on with great service. We will be coming back in June with the rest of our dive gang. Can hardly wait. I like this place! More

Just returned from another week at Hotel Cozumel (10/14-10/20/2011). Great resort for divers and non-divers, very close to town. We dived with Dive Paradise at the hotel- they take great care of everyone, but we especially appreciated the attentiveness afforded by Angel. Walking distance to town, many nice restaurants and sights without travelling far. We're already planning our next trip. More

I just returned fron a 2 week vacation with my 12 year old son, staying at this hotel. To be quite honest I wouldn't rate it as a 4 star hotel but more like a solid 3 star. We had planned and researched this vacation for about 6 months so ther were no surprises, nasty or otherwise for us. The... More

Shotty service, could care less about loyal customers. I would rather sleep in the street than stay there again. The manager is a real jerk. Food sucks, rooms are dirty, water is brown. It's like living in the getto. I would never stay there again. And the prices suck. Water to bath/bruch you teeth with was nasty. More

We love this hotel, it's not 5 star, food can get boring, but the location, staff, and facilities for diving make up for it.Close enough to town to walk in, far enough away to be quiet.Love the small beach area and dive shop. More

If you want a clean hotel with good, not great, food at a good price, this will do. It is a good place to stay for divers or sightseers. If you want to hang out by the pool and get drunk for a week, you need to pay more and find a better place. Otherwise, everything is good, not bad,... More

If you want cheap you'll get cheap. The food was awful. Basically the same thing every day. Do not go if your a vegetarian. Processed fried food, casseroles with ham or hot dogs, ice burg salads, hamburgers made with 80% soy, even the refried beans were terrible. The water in the sink and shower would run yellow to rust brown... More

We just concluded a fabulous week at the Hotel Cozumel. We flew to Cancun, took Gray Lines to Playa Del Carmen (they were extremely professional) and continued to Cozumel on one of their high speed ferries. The first thing that I noticed was that the Hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. I've never made friends with a hotel's staff... More

We stayed here last year with a group of 14, and while it was not the Ritz, it was at least clean and the food was bottling bad. Well this year that was not the case!! The exact same food was served for 4 days. And I must say that it did not get better with age. Our room was... More
