Husband and I went May 4th - May 11th 2015. Top floor ocean view and balcony with racks to hang your equipment to dry. Room was pretty standard fare. We've been to Mexico many times and knew what to expect. Never having stayed at this particular hotel, we really didn't have huge expectations of totality of resort. We were there... More

Would I stay here again? No. The front desk women are all rude, every single one of them. You'll see when you get there. The men are pleasant. Guaranteed you will be frustrated if you ask for anything.. including smaller bills. Food is actually ok. I had the all inclusive but ate out all lunches and dinners anyways because I... More

When I arrived late in the evening the staff was not very friendly to me. The Pool was very large. The room was clean and the food at the buffet was not too bad. The Hotel was decorated well, but it was not really modern. The Wifi was very good. The water was hot in the shower, and cold in... More

I don’t see how you can beat Hotel Cozumel as a base for diving in Cozumel. I recently returned to Hotel Cozumel for my fifth time in the last 18 months, and it remains a truly outstanding value. The rooms are comfortable and secure, and they are designed for divers with both a drain in the bathroom and drying racks... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Cozumel and Resort for 3 nights last week. We arrived around 2:00 on a Thursday to find the pool teeming with children. We found out later that Thursday was family day and the staff's family could use the hotel's facilities. I don't know if this is a normal occurrence or if this... More

This was our first all-inclusive, and we really enjoyed it! We thought the food was good; they served dinner out at the pool a couple of nights and out by the beach area while we were there...nice touch! We found the waiters, bartenders, entertainment staff, and front desk employees to be pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience. The shows... More

This older hotel/resort on Cozumel has an equal balance of pluses and minuses for me but depending on what it is a person is wanting out of their vacation may not be as great a factor in the decision making process as it could be for someone else. On the plus side: the staff are all really friendly, polite, helpful,... More

The resort is the first of it's kind on the island. So, it's a little dated. However, the lobby is beautiful, the rooms are clean and safe. Nice people go there and divers are catered to. Three meals a day are provided, buffet style - no complaints there. The staff is friendly and most speak English. Huge pool - drinks... More

We have been to Hotel Cozumel several times, primarily for its convenience to downtown and connection to Dive Paradise. Checking in you are greeted with a refreshing fruit beverage. Rooms are simple but functional. We like the rooms in the upper level due to views and more tropical air flow. Fresh water is provided on every level. Food is buffet... More
