This was my third and last visit. The location is convenient for a walk into town, and you're going to want to go to town to get a nice meal. I got sick with an intestinal malady despite drinking only bottled water but eating, up to getting sick, only the hotel's food. My friend noticed that the cook used the... More

If you're looking for a large resort with lush gardens, pools, beach real estate, and multiple restaurants to choose from, this is NOT the place for you. You'd do better going to a resort further south (Sabor, Iberostar, etc.). There is one (giant) pool, one restaurant, and the "beach" is across the street (but there is a tunnel from the... More

Others may give lower rating because the hotel may be a bit dated but we rate on service. Upon arrival, we were greeted with smiles and hospitality. The staff is definitely geared to give you the best service. From the bell boy to the administration, everything was excellent. We had the all inclusive package which included all food and drink.... Stayed at Hotel Cozumel & Resort for a week-long dive trip. I travel to Cozumel frequently (3-4 weeks a year) and usually stay downtown. We opted for this hotel since it had a large pool and my wife wanted a nice place to lay out in the afternoon. Check-in was fast and we opted for an ocean view room on... More

The service at this hotel was a huge disappointment - I suggest you stay somewhere else. Just prior to the last day of our trip, my review would have been much more positive. We stayed at the hotel for a week in June. The hotel was nice, given the price, (not all-inclusive). But on the second to last night we... More

We went for a week with a group of 12 friends. Half divers half not. The accommodations where nice. Nothing super fancy but definitely worth what you pay. Service was wonderful. No complaints with any of the staff. Had fun activities each day and night. Noberto and Cynthia keep you entertained! Can't wait to go back!!

When I first arrived at Hotel Cozumel, I only had one thing to say....,"WOW!" It was perfect in my opinion. It was easy on the eyes with a splash of artistic elegance to it with the Dolphin statue in the lobby and the Flower Seller 1942 by Diego Rivera decorating most of the walls and the entrancing paintings of the... The Good: The property is nice and with a small beach area and relatively good amenities. The restaurant food is better than average and a couple of the employees were really nice. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great! The store on the property was small and did not offer any type of groceries that could be... More

Begin by remembering that this is Mexico and not the United States where we are spoiled and used to having everything. If you travel outside the United States, don't expect to have your "home". This is a very nice dive facility. The managers and front desk folks are quite nice. The food is what is normally provided in Mexico and... More

Lovely quiet, fairly small resort. Cozumel overall is not the most eventful place in Mexico but if you're a diver this the place to go. There is a diveshop on the grounds and they do daily diving trips and classes. The hotel is not too far from the main port area where you can take the fairy to Playa Del... More
