A stay at the El Cozumeleno is all about you and how the staff can make it most enjoyable for you. We have traveled extensively throughout the US, Carribean and Mexico and nowhere have we found a staff more attentive to our needs, whether it was being served a drink on the beach, asking for something special at the buffet... more

My now husband and I stayed at El Coz for our honeymoon from April 21st to the 28th and we had a fantastic time. I've just mixed the pros and cons... Hope this helps! This was our second stay at El Coz. We traveled around the island quite a bit this time and know that there is no other hotel quite like El Coz. You can't find another hotel set up as perfectly as this one: virtually all of the rooms have fantastic ocean views, as well as views of the beautiful pool area;... more

My overview of El Cozumeleno Resort Good • Two pools, one geared more for families, teens and children, with music playing all day & a swim-up bar. Our trip began in Charlotte,NC on a cool and rainy Saturday. We arrived at the airport a few hours early to find that our flight had been delayed 45 minutes so I would say it went pretty smooth. We went to the El Cozumeleno for the 2nd time in a year. We had a nice time as we like the size and ease of the resort. Our complaint this time was the front desk. We checked in to 2 rooms. My family in 1 and a young man, a friend, in the second. We booked our trips separately... more

We Just got back yesterday from El Cozumeleno, and I had to write right away while the experence was still fresh in my mind. first off the resort is very nice, the staff is also very friendly, we had no problems outher than the FOOD!!! I do not believe that there is no way that they we're keeping there food... more
