Just got back fromour 6th stay at this resort. It is such an awesome place. We love it more each year!! Yes the beds are hard and the food, besides breakfast can be bad. You still get a lot for your money there! See you next July!!! more

This was the best resort ever!! Where to start?? Well the food.......wonderful! In the morning there was an omlet bar where a chef would prepare it in front of you! There was french toast(delicious), and toast, fruit, sugary fritters, and a smoothie bar. My favorite was the Cozumel! Yum! In the afternoon there was a fajita bar! Delicious! The bars... more

This place is great bang for the buck. Rooms were nice size although the bed was a bit hard. My wife and my back loved it. They offer decent liquor and will make anything you ask for. Double and triple drinks are no problem. We brought our own cups and they filled them up every time. Food is pretty good... more

Since all drinks, food, tips were covered in the package - I was able to just worry about relaxing! They have a dive shop at the resort where I got certified to scuba dive in 3 days (scuba du) and book dives once certified. They also have free tennis, snorkeling, ping pong, miniature golf, kayaking, a little library consisting of... more

We were in Cozumel for five days and loved the El Cozumeleno. They try to go out of there way to make you happy. This is the best all-inclusive we have found in Cozumel and we have stayed at several of the all inclusives in Cozumel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is average for an all inclusive... more

I was very concerned after reading some reviews, so I had to come back to write down our experience. We were there from June 29 - July 4. We loved it!!! The hotel is beautiful - it is located on a beautiful section of beach. We were greated with a cold drink while we were waiting to check in. We... more

My husband and I first stayed at the El Coz. on our honeymoon in May 2005, we have since been there twice after that, in May '07, and May '08. It is a great place for the amount of money that you pay. The food on the buffet is okay, the food inside is much better. The breakfast buffet is... more

I don't know what people are complaining about. We stayed there from June 19-25th. We never had one problem. Unless your picky, you can always find something to eat. After a few days you do get sick of it. You eat right by the ocean, good views. Always had fresh fruit. There were some birds around the food area, but... more

We didn' plan on the EL Coz, to begin with, but because of low occupancy, the hotel that we originally booked with closed down and our reservations were transfered to the EL Coz. Let me start off by saying that the reservations were screwed up. Wrong room, air didn't work, and we had money stolen from our luggage. The food... more

I will keep this brief. This hotel has a great staff. The room was nice, beds a bit hard but sleepable. Nice small beach. Nice pools. Food was okay, sometimes very good. There is always something to eat. We threw away some dishesd we didnt like but always left full, all 3 meals. The Veranda restaurant was a step up.... more
