As a scuba diver, I've stayed at Hotel Flores many times in last 10 years since late 1990's. It's clean, basic, budget, no frills, half block from ocean road and downtown plaza, close to banks, ATM's, restaurants, internet cafes, shopping, and dive shops. June 2009 trip, room w/AC and ceiling fan but no TV was $350 pesos, approx $30 U.S. No AC a little less, TV a little more. 3 story hotel, no elevator, top floor may have some rooms w/ocean view, no balconies, no telephone in room. Shower size OK and with lower faucet to help wash dive gear. Reasonably quiet. I toured many budget downtown hotels in recent years and Hotel Flores was still best value. Email is [--].
