We loved the tour with our guide, Severiano and our driver Cesar. I can't say enough good about Cesar! The site was crowded, hot and dusty and we were looking forward to the hotel room. It was attractive, but the expeience was not all we had hoped for. The tour people need to coordinate better with the hotel staff. Dinner... More

No wifi in the rooms, and quite iffy near the reception area. No phone in the room either. We were taken aback by the attitudes of the staff. Even though they did not seem very busy, we experienced abrupt, less than helpful, and sometimes surly attitudes at the front desk. The restaurant staff seemed over extended, although I can't figure... More

It has been a couple of years and I still can't get this place out of my thoughts. Probably this is because of my phone screen saver which shows me-completely alone- gazing at the pyramid. Good luck accomplishing this photo if you stay anywhere else! You can be the first people at the site and the last to leave in... More

I am very late writing this review. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in a bungalow which was spacious and immaculate. Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful, We visited the ruins, and stayed one night. We had a taxi drop us off at the ruins, thinking we could enter the hotel throught their private entrace to check in, but we... More

I understand that there isn't much more to do after you have spend a few day at Chichen Itza however staying at the Lodge gives you a different experience. We stayed for two full days and three nights after spending two half days (one afternoon one morning) strolling around Chichen Itza and disovering many other items the second morning that... More

This one is hard, as I have mixed feelings: so much that I loved, and other things not so much. Pros: location is amazing, as are the grounds of the hotel. You can see the Caracol from the hotel lobby and there is a private entrance to Chichen Itza 100m from lobby that hotel guests can use 2 hours before... More

Sometime disturb by groups of visitors coming for archeological site. But good on the all. We had large suites. And breakfast on the terasse (because we insisted to have). Proximity with archeological site is the big plus ! You can see the famous observatory in front of the entrance of the hotel. On the all, we enjoyed.

Stayed here for 3 days with a teenager and 2 college aged children during our week in Mexico. This was the highlight of our trip. The staff was phenomenal, the grounds beautiful, and a location that can't be beat. Our stay here was very relaxing and quiet. There was nothing better than sitting on the porch of our bungalow and... More

...And we loved having you with us! Thanks for your visit and your wonderful comments. We look forward to your next visit among us. Do Consider Uxmal when you return. The temples, their beauty and serenity, the truly superlative mayan villages that surround them. Great service. Staff were very friendly and quick. Early access to the ruins was invaluable. Would come back again if going to the area. We stayed at the bungalow, and it was in a quite interesting setting. Understandably, wifi was not very good due to the location of the hotel. There is a PC in the front desk to use... More

The hotel, The Food and The People are all 100% genuine and top notch. Stay here and experience Chichen Itza at it's best. Plan a two night stay go to the ruins, nearby cenotes and the caves all close by.
