This hotel has a number of options including traditional hotel rooms but the best options are the bungalows. Each bungalow has a porch with a rocking chair and space for a hammock. About 3-4 bungalows will share a pool area. The grounds are immaculately green and beautiful. As it is located in the archeological zone, it has small real ancient... More

I stayed at the Lodge for three nights and it was such a relaxing stay. The people who work at the resort were some of the nicest people we have ever met in Mexico. The food was absolutely outstanding and the ruins amazing. The only negative thing that could be said of our visit was thi wi-fi was very spotty... More

Thanks for visiting our resort and for your very nice review. We have spent an inordinate amount of dollars and effort to have the very best internet signal we can possibly get in Chichen Itza.... and we are still not happy with the results, thus continue to work on it... but we depend on our oligopoly of suppliers, from tour... Location unbeatable, with its private entrance to the main Chichen site. Staff helpful, willing to go the extra mile to ensure a satisfying stay. Could be improved: lunch buffet, which had a rather "industrial" feeling, and the overall rooms (especially bathrooms), showing their age (probably 20 years?) Room tip: we had a Percival bungalow, with direct access to a very... More

I stayed in one of the bungalows. I was in the room at the end and my friend was at the room at the other end with a couple staying between us. Each room had a table and 2 rocking chairs on the shared porch. In addition they give you hammocks that you can hang in front of your room.... More

The lodge is located right next door to the ruins. Guests have their own private back entrance. No long lines! Why would you want to fight the mobs on the tour buses? Get there by 9 AM if want great pictures without mobs of people in them. It takes about 6 hours to really see all of the ruins at... More

Really cool jungle-esque setting with direct access to Chichen Itza (beat the crowds!). Grounds were lovely and very well laid out however the bungalows are a bit dated inside. Although the food was quite good there was only one restaurant opened for dinner when were there. Wifi was pretty poor and there were a lot of bugs but that is... More

Thanks for visiting our resort ! Our bungalows were just fitted with new furniture, new air conditioners and new flat screen SAT TV's, ALL of them. I am at a loss with your comment about being "dated". If you are referring to the style, yes, they are inspired on Original Maya Casitas, all with ample terraces, the typical hand made... More

From the hotel's restaurant manager (Miguel) to our concierge (Marco), every staff member was attentive, welcoming, and went out of their way to help make our stay unforgettable. LOVED the private entrance to the Chichen Itza. Tip: Ask your concierge about entering Chichen Itza before (sunrise) or after (sunset) general public hours. The better of the two is going prior... We arrived around 1am by car. Our GPS has taken us to the road block at the hotel entrance which was deserted. There were no phone to connect to the reception, no one answered the hotel phone when we tried to reach it using our mobile. I have tried walking to find someone, but this was pitch dark so I... This was the most beautiful place we stayed during our week long driving tour of the Yucatan. The grounds are a very beautiful garden setting with bungalows spaced apart from each other. It is an ideal place to simply walk around, relax, and absorb the beauty. The immediate proximity to Chichen Itza is very convenient. The staff are also very... More

We stayed for two nights right after a seven-night retreat in Tulum. Our bungalow had a definite WOW factor; walking into our cool, high-ceiling, gigantic room was a fantastic feeling after a week of minimal comforts. Tile floors, the giant, polished wood vertical blinds on the curved wall, clean, bright bathroom with excellent water pressure, a jet-tub, and a really... More
