Beautiful grounds, location, great service (except once at dinner with a few lazy young guys - was appalling) but at breakfast and the buggies - perfect We booked this as it was number one in Chichen Itza - I dread to think what number six is. The room is NOT airtight against the bugs and flora and fauna of the... More

We are all sorry you did not enjoyed your experience in our bungalows. We do organic fumigation (a much more expensive alternative to traditional chemicals), to protect the birds, iguanas and wildlife of our environment, and exquisite, much applauded and celebrated experience you obviously do not care for. We offer beautiful rooms and suites in our main building, one that... More

The room was adequate although needs some renovation. Bathroom fairly small. Grounds are beautiful and the location next to the Chichen Itza ruins is ideal. This is the best place to stay for convenience if visiting the Famous ruins. Recommend staying overnight and visiting the ruins first thing in the morning before the large number of tourists arrive.

I would absolutely recommend a stay at the Lodge for at least one night if you are visiting the ruins at Chichen Itza. The entrance to the ruins was located just a 5 minute walk from our room. It was a pleasure to enter as they opened and avoid the crowds. We arranged our tour guide at the front desk... More

We loved this vacation, the ruins, the people, the food, and the accommodations! What we didn't expect was how amazing our driver, "Sammy", our tour guide Demetrio Medina, and some of the staff was including Chan Louis and Assaied (spelling) were. Demetrio gave us a real idea of the way things were and we will never forget the trip! Btw,... More

We stayed here for three nights when visiting chichen itza. The location could not be better only a five minute walk from the site, allowing you to get there way before the bulk of the tourists come in. The rooms were spacious but let down slightly by the lack of telephone and WiFi. Products on the other hand were locally... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of the Yucatan explorer tour organised by Mayaland tours. Our accommodation was one of the Pavarotti bungalows in the Lodge. It was beautiful, very comfy bed, spotlessly clean and so quiet. Our bungalow had a hammock on its terrace from which we could watch the fantastic, varied birdlife. We also had a... More

We arrived at the Lodge at Chichen Itza for buffet lunch following a tour of the archeological site. We did not stay overnight, so I can not review the reception desk, check-in process or hotel staff. The hotel has a beautiful old world lobby, a grand staircase, tile floors. It has lovely grounds with a large secluded garden. There are... More

We stayed two night at this lodge, and enjoyed our stay immensely. It cost us $700 for a round trip private van from Cancun to Chichen Itza via Gray Line Blue Diamond - Mayaland. The trip takes about 2 and a half hours one way. We were lodged in the bungalows, and loved them. We never saw a mosquito, but... More

Would recommend this hotel for the ease of access to chichen itza and wonderful grounds. The room (Percival 1) was comfortable and in a perfect position close to a swimming pool. It is slightly dated, but has a charm of its own. The hotel arranged a guide at 8 a.m, Juan, who made the tour of Chichen Itza very interesting... More
