We reluctantly left Isla Mujeres to head to Cancun because we loved the island so much. We stayed on Isla from Sunday to Sat. and planned an overnight tour via Brant at Entertainment Plus to C-Itza for Sat. evening at the Myaland Resort right in the ruins, It was an amazing 2 days. We met the tour at 7am, it... more

This was one of the most amazing places we stayed as part of a tour of Mayan Mexico. Quiet and tranquil, we had our own pool surrounded by lush overgrowth and the odd iguana! Bizarre jungley noises at night an lovely apartments. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. more

We were not expecting much from this trip for it was only a stop over as we toured the pyramids and history in Chichen Itza. What a wonderful surprise to find this place absolutely gorgeous, lush, comfortable and we wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were unique and very roomy with great access to the grounds of Chichen... more

We booked this accomodation approx. 5 1/2 months in advance and chose it over Hacienda Chichen because of reviews on Trip Advisor. On checking in ... we could not have the rooms we had requested. There were 5 of us - 1 superior room and the Master Suite for the other 3. We were told by the employee at the... more

First, we tried to book this hotel via travelocity but they're not really wired enough for this to happen the same day. Luckily, once we discovered we had that same problem with National Car Rental at the Cancun airport (a travelocity booking didn't go through), we called the hotel's booking number and got a room for the same rate. When... more

Stayed here for one night in November 2007, visiting Chichen Itza the next day. The hotel is quite easy to find, with the entrance directly off the main road. A golf buggy then picks you up from the car park to the main hotel building. The hotel is where the archaelogists stayed whilst excavating the chichen itza site. The hotel... more

Perfect location for touring the Chichen Itza ruins. This hotel is located right in the Chichen Itza ruins which was very handy as we walked to the evening light show and early morning tour of the ruins right from our hotel. Our room was located in the main hotel and cost $165 per night. There were also bungalows available for... more

I was very nervous about booking a stay here after reading thru previous reviews. It sure sounded like a hit or miss experience. Our stay on the other hand was wonderful. For full disclosure purposes though, let me first say that my wife and I lived in Costa Rica for 9 years, running our own small ecolodge, so we are... more

We were debating whether to spend the night at Chichen Itza, or join a tour group for a day trip. I thought it would be more useful to actually spend the night there. We drove from Cancun, stopped over for lunch in Valladolid, and then checked into Mayaland around 4ish. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It's right outside the archaelogical... more

We went to the Mayaland for one night as part of the Gray line overnight tour. We had been to Chichen Itza once before and wanted a bit more time this trip. We booked online in November so I had concerns about whether it would all come together but all was good. We met the bus at the entrance of... more
