First of all.. mind set has to be changed, once you arrive you will notice we are definitely not in Kansas any more.. if you expect a modern high tech hotel please run away as fast as you can. But if what you are looking for is for a mystical, impressive and can I even say magical hotel that will... More

The room was wonderful--large with 2 comfortable beds. There was a large balcony with a view towards the ruins. The bathroom was large too with a jacuzzi and a view. The only problem was the water was only tepid. The grounds were beautiful and you could walk to the ruins. Overall we loved this place. Just wish they would have... More

Thanks for your visit. Our WiFi is free. We do our best and have spend tens of thousands of dollars on it, but we depend on legacy phone companies for it.... I'll personally check about the temperature of the water in the room you had. We really go out of our way for our clients. We hope to be of... More

We had a lovely room in the main building which was an upgrade, which included a coffee/ tea machine, safe, fridge. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening. Food was good, but expensive as you are a captive customer! We had the buffet the next day which was available from 12.30 to 4.30 and was a more reasonable... More

Thanks for your visit. Surprised about your comment on our prices, specially since you come from London. Our pricing is, we strongly believe, fair. Very reasonable considering that our standards are the highest, from purifying our water and ice through "reverse osmosis" to baking our own breads to having a multi- lingual staff, etc. etc. The quality of what we... Stopped here to eat on an organised trip to Chichen Itza, we were greeted on arrival with a very welcoming cold drink of either bottled water , beer or soft drinks , ample seating and very good staff, food was buffet style , consisting of traditional Mayan and Mexican food , a well stocked salad bar , vegetarian table and... From the brochure descriptions and photographs we thought this hotel was going to be the most luxurious of the hotels during our tour of the Yucatan Peninnsula in Mexico. The reality was different. The location was perfect for visiting the ancient monuments but we found that this hotel was living on past glories. On our arrival the porter was more... More

I brought my girlfriend at the time and future wife to this hotel. She made me promise to bring her back for our tenth anniversary. I cannot wait to go back. We had a phenomenal time. We would get up in the morning, eat breakfast, and visit the ruins. When the buses from Cancun showed up, we would eat lunch... More

We have loved staying here. The whole staff have been beyond accomodating. The room is comfortable, roomy, and clean. It is the common areas that truly shine- the restaurants and bar are lovely and the servers charming and friendly- the grounds and the hacienda are gorgeous. The private entrance to the ruins site is a huge plus, too. A unique,... More

Choose the property due its location, adjacent to the Chichen Itza park. The grounds were gorgeous including several pools. . Wish we had had time to enjoy the hotel itself. Ate at the buffet for lunch. Nothing to write home about. So-so selection, quality was mediocre. We stayed in a junior suite. Spacious and comfortable. The staff was so helpful.... More

Thanks for your visit. You judge our buffet, meant for transients on a budget (and at under 9 USD for an all you can eat buffet, it is a great value) as if it where a meal you were expecting to "write home about".... Please ! The comment is so misleading to future guests' reading it that I had to... More

This hotel was a paradise! We got off the bus at Chichen Itza and took a cab over to the front entrance where we had an easy check in experience. They let us into our bungalow early, which was incredibly kind, they gave us delicious cold hibiscus teas and then whisked us away in a golf cart to our room.... More

We booked this hotel through a booking service and it looked nice enough but the main reason we booked it was its proximity to Chichen Itza ruins. I was pleasantly happy to find the place very nice. The room was very spacious, the bath very modern (but no hairdryer?) There was air conditioning, too. The old main building is beautiful... More
