We stayed here one night as it's well located for Chichen Itza. However the quality of the rooms is average and staying here is functional rather than a great experience. more
This hotel is too expensive for what it offers. The room has a/c, nice fan, clean, comfortable beds and a convenient location plus free wifi. Breakfast is nothing fancy but ok. Overall, the room needed to be updated badly; you know towels-bath floor mat-cheap things to fix; come on! try a bit harder. Hot water in the morning would be... more
Travelled with my husband and another couple for a week exploring the Yucatan. We shared a room with two beds for the night, and had a great time. The room was simple and clean, the pools were just what we needed after the heat and lack of shade at Chichen Itza. Food was not very exiting, but the Corona vending... more
The place was dead quiet when we got there e.g. we were the only guests bar one guy who turned up later. This I believe to the site being closed the week before due to "the Flu". Still it's a cute hotel with pink buildings. One decent enough pool which we so needed. Was disappointed that the other pool with... more
I stayed here for 2 nights recently, and was very happy. The hotel is only about 8 minutes from Chichen Itza, and the closest larger town is Piste with enough restaurants and shopping. The hotel is right by the road, but the rooms set back enough. It sports 2 awesome pools, a large dining palapa, and about 20 rooms all... more
We stayed at Hotel Dolores Alba Chichen Itza after 5 nights in Playa del Carmen and before more three nights in Cancun. It was a very good idea to stay at Chichen Itza because it´s 3 hours driving from Playa to there and more 2 hours and a half to go back to Cancun. It was nice because we visited... more
We stayed in the hotel for 1 night. We arrived late and left early. The hotel & restaurant was quite. The pool looke beautiful at night with the lights. The room was okay, abit tired. Clean as can be. I would recommend this hotel for 1-2 nights stay. more
I was a bit nervous about staying at the Hotel Dolores Alba/Chichen Itza after reading some reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly service, decent food, and great location. Our room was only 545 pesos (about $35 at the time of our visit). For this price we had a decent sized room, free breakfast (bread, eggs, fruit plate,... more
Wireless internet available to use. Computers in lobby for use for a small fee. Friendly staff that spoke little english. Rooms were sparse but clean and the beds firm but still comfortable. Lovely gardens and grounds. The food and service at the restaurant was simple but very tasty. There is an area with hammocks if you care to lounge near... more
