From your first moment at Hacienda Chichen, you are surrounded by beauty and serenity. The setting is peaceful and quiet. Grounds are incredibly beautiful. Staff is warm and gracious. Private garden entrance to ruins and private guides available to book through hotel. Excellent restaurant with the best Chilequiles in Mexico. Comfortable rooms and beautiful pool. Hammocks for resting in after... More

The grounds were stunning and I did some great bird watching there - which the hotel set up a guide for me last minute! They even have their own private entrance into the Chichen Itza ruins! Go to the ruins early, 8:00-8:30, and you can see most of the ruins before the tour buses from Cancun arrive. It takes about... More

My husband and I, and another couple, spent one night here to see the ruins, and we were blown away with how amazing this place is. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The service was fantastic and we loved our tour guide ( I think his name... More

My husband and I stayed here recently and couldn't have been happier with our choice! We wanted to stay in the area in order to tour the ruins early and had researched several other options nearby. We chose Hacienda Chichen based on TA reviews. The Hacienda itself is a beautiful, old building with lovely porches to sit and dine on.... More

Everything was pleasant - the service, food, room and the pool! We enjoyed very much the early morning bird watching tour with the Maya Bihiano uh tun - he knows everything in this beautiful environment and the old culture of his ancestors.

I specifically chose Hacienda Chichen for it's historical wealth, to walk in the footsteps of the archaeologists that stayed here, but this beautiful hotel is a treaure in itself. Beautiful, manicured lawns, wonderful dining, excellent service. The cottages are perfect, exquisite furnishings, plenty of space and a patio with a hammock to relax in, a pool to cool off in,... We stayed two nights in August. We chose specifically this hotel because we wanted to access Chichen Itza before the crowds from Cancun and Playa del Carmen arrive. The hotel has its own private entrance and an employee buys the tickets for the archeological zone at 8:00am so guests can enter early. Crowds arrive around 10-11am so we had plenty... More

We have taken many friends and family to Hacienda Chichen & Yaxkin Spa. This is one of our favourite places in the Yucatan. Obviously Chichen Itza is an amazing historical site all on it's own and it is only steps from Hacienda Chichen, but to make things even better, Hacienda Chichen and Yaxkin Spa has a lovely romantic restaurant with... We were on a 3 week visit to the Yucatan peninsula staring with whale sharks on Holbox Island and ending near Tulum. This was our culture stop in the middle and was wonderful. The hacienda is a great experience and the whole place has a great atmosphere, lush tropical gardens, good and reasonably priced food, singers/guitarists who play authentic music... More
