The moment you set foot on this XIX century Hacienda, you should stop for a moment at the main door and look to the west across the courtyard to observe the setting sun beyond the dome of the Mayan Observatory of Chichen Itza. You´ll then realize that you´re entering a space that is filled with magical views and exotic tastes.... More

This converted hacienda is conveniently located in the jungle immediately next to Chichen Itza. A great place to stay if you want to visit Chichen Itza before the crowds arrive. The bungalow we stayed in was excellent as were the staff and food. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel/resort and absolutely perfect for a visit to the ruins. Our cabin was close to the pool and had rocking chairs and a hammock. The area is very serene and full of birds. We really enjoyed our stay. In front of the hotel, you can find a water well. Obviously, it is not being used anymore, but just have... More

My husband and I ate here with our tour group. The food was outstanding and the staff was friendly. The house was beautiful. I wish we had had more time to check out the grounds and the rest of the estate.

We recently visited with our dog. This is a beautiful facility and the service is way above average but there are a few things to consider. First is that our room (#22) was in a motel like environment. It is very eco conscious but as there is no ability to open the wind in the rear of the room we... More

My wife and I booked a week-and-a-half trip to the Yucatan Peninsula and chose to stay at Hacienda Chichen during our stay in the interior. The Hacienda and their service were fabulous. We stayed in master suite #25 at the Property which was very spacious in both the bathroom and bedroom. The room and grounds are impeccably maintained, the rooms... More

Private garden entrance to ruins and private guides available to book through hotel. Excellent restaurant with the best Chilequiles in Mexico. Comfortable rooms and beautiful pool. The grounds were stunning and I did some great bird watching there - which the hotel set up a guide for me last minute! They even have their own private entrance into the Chichen Itza ruins! Go to the ruins early, 8:00-8:30, and you can see most of the ruins before the tour buses from Cancun arrive. It takes about... More

My husband and I, and another couple, spent one night here to see the ruins, and we were blown away with how amazing this place is. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The service was fantastic and we loved our tour guide ( I think his name...
