We arrrived from Cancun just for a night because we wanted to start next day to explore the archaeological park while it is quiet and empty. Hotel location is perfect. Only 2 minutes from the pyramid site and 10 minutes from Ik Kill Cenote. The Mexican style hotel is in a tropical garden. Parking is free. In the center of... More

My family of 5 decided to stay 1 night at the last minute to get early access to Chichen Itza. One of the 3 hotels with private access to the park from the back entrance. Small and charming, you walk into a tranquil courtyard, ceramic tiled floors and native decor. Staff are extremely helpful, allowed us to check suite out... More

We stayed one night at this hotel in order to be able to do a very early tour of the ruins. It is just a 5 min walk from the entrance to the ruins so perfect location. This is not a large hotel and by no means 5 star but it is clean, friendly, pleasant surroundings and very good value.... More

Best thing: the walking distance to chichen itza (quiet hotel entramce, yeah!). Which is also its drawback: you need transportation to get to piste. So we ate in its overpriced restaurant: the main course and soup were good, the rest average. Breakfast was also good. The room was very good, slept like a baby. The pool though was a bit... More

This hotel offers very good value and an excellent location. It has maintained an ambiance which is consistent with its location next to the Chitzen Itza archaeological site. Rooms are very functional and the hotel setting is extremely tranquil. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very much the best choice amongst the hotels near Chitzen Itza (much less touristy that... More

The scenery was serene, the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. The rooms were clean and well laid out, and, at night, there was no noise around to keep a person from falling asleep. The only concern was that the beds were a little too hard for my taste.

Great pool and decent margaritas if you ask to have them with extra tequila. Room and service were alright, except for the air conditioning filters that could definitely use some loving and maintenance, the rooms can get stuffy and slightly uncomfortable at night =( Other than that, the pool at night was pretty nice, especially after a hot day in... VACI is in an excellent location 5 mins walk from the entrance to the site, and as most people will come to visit the site before moving on it is ideal for this purpose at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and meet you with a welcome drink of hibiscus. The hotel itself is old, and... More

Villas Arqueologicas is in Chichen Itza's "hotel zone," so you can walk from the door to the back entrance of the park in just a few minutes. So location is ideal. Beyond that, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in time but they accommodated us without complaint. The cold hibiscus drink they gave us... More

Ideally located for an early morning trip to Chitzen Itza (10 minutes walk away) to beat the crowds. Style of the room is very original, although the small two-person bed felt a bit crowded tucked in the corner with only one side to get out. The private tour guide organized by the reception (Victor) was very good and knowledgeable, not... More
