The photos are misleading. Pool was empty and WIFI didn't work. Apparently the WIFI issue had been going on for weeks and they still advertised 'free WIFI' in Hostelbookers. Poorly stocked kitchen and every time you put a pan on the electric hot plate you get electric shocks. Good enough for one night but don't expect it to be what... More

There was no water in the pool, the female dorm was smelly and actually full of boys sleeping there. No hot water in the shower. The breakfast was bad organised in a dirty kitchen . Overall a scruffy place, wouldn't stay here again.

Good location in downtown with good bus routes just outside, really close to the bus station for travelling further away (Playa/Tulum/Chichen). All staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms which was really big, it fitted 2 double beds, private bathroom, free aircon and fridge which was very good touch, and free wifi which suited... More

Stayed here for three nights to make further travel plans for the rest of mexico after travelling for a month in Cuba. If I was able to finish in two nights I would have... Place is clean and quiet (depends always on the people staying there...). They have a book exchange and two computers with free internet and wifi. That... More

The hostel is situated away out of the hotel zone, in downtown cancun. There are places to eat if you look, but in terms if nightlife, it's quite a distance, about a $15 taxi journey. So maybe pay the extra bit and stay in the hotel zone if you're planning on partying. We had two private rooms. One of which... More

Definitely the cheapest in the area, and for a good reason. DISORGANIZED. We booked via email. Everything was confirmed. When we arrived they told us they didn't know if we would have a bed as the room was a mess. Finally we did. ROOM. Better described as Sauna. Has some fans on the roof, but bottom bunks won't get a... More

I stayed here for two nights Pros: Location - great for catching buses to beaches and ports. Near supermarkets and bus station. Price - honestly, to pay £6 to stay in central Cancun when you know there are hotels full of people a couple of miles away paying through the nose for it, well it can't be beaten. Security -... More

Awesome hostel. A beautiful space of peace and tranquility in a busy, not very touristy area of the city. Was exactly what i wanted and suited me perfectly. Friendly staff who allowed me to stay on after checkout till my bus in the evening. The breakfast is great, lots of coffee :) Only slight downside, for some, may be the... More
