I had to stay two nights, i checked out the following morning. the pillows were terrible super lumpy could not sleep. no room service, you had to call for pizza because they do not offer room service. while its centrally located in cancun, its not worth it. i think there were... Same as the other city express hotel in campeche this one is also quite new hotel with big rooms. It is located in down town cancun. Long way from beach. There is a big shopping mall in front of the hotel. it has a little swimmingpool. Breakfast very basic. Nobody cleans the table. And the staff are rud, unfreindly and... More

The friendliness of Mexican people is always nice...here they could push it up a little. It is overall clean but the pillows could be changed! The airconditioning in the lobby broke down and the air would not flow because they only opened 1 door....there was no effort from the front desk or the security to open windows or other doors... When I stay in a low budget Hotel I expect at least a clean room and towels, well this was not the case. The room was clean, but not enough towels. When I call the reception, the lady told me there were not towels available for the next two hours. I just couldn't believe what I was told, so I... More

If you're in Cancun and not interested in the beach, a property like this is good. It is much less expensive and you can still take a taxi to a beach. It is across from a huge shopping mall, but there are few good restaurants near by. The property itself was reasonable and clean for the most part. I had... More

The breakfast is included but they could change the quality and the amount of the food (corn flakes, coffe, bread and some fruits). The air condition in the room was terrible. It turned off every 10 minutes and it didnt start again. They tried to fix it and it was impossible. We asked to change our room the second night... More

My family stayed here overnight before continuing our journey elsewhere. It was clean, though it smelled of bleach in our room. The accomodations are basic but met our expectations, since we only paid about $70 for the room. The experience was perfectly adequate for our purposes, so I give it 4 stars.

We only spent 2 nights at city express, before our trip to playa del carmen. We chose this hotel because we went on a day trip to isla mujeres, and we got free nights with our credit card points. Basic accomodations, bussines center, continental breakfast, cable TV, AC...etc. there was construction next door and it was annoying, it would have... More

This hotel is great for an overnight stay or for emergency. It is a few minutes bus ride to the touristic area. I had a room on the bottom floor and everything was perfect (very clean, beds were comfy, tv with a lot of channels). The breakfast was more than OK for the price. There is a nice shopping mall...
