This hotel is different from what you see in cancun, its quite and in non touristic area which is good as u will be able to visit local shops and markets aways of the tourist area, you can also take the local bus and discover the city . i liked the pool its small and private, the room is not... Ivan our receptionist was really sweet. This completely white hotel gives you a warm homely feel. Selena the cook is willing to make changes to your breakfast as per your request. If you want to spend a lot of time in Isla Mujeres, this is the place to stay in. The ferry boarding area is just 5 minutes away by... More

When we arrived at the hotel and were shown to the room, it was small but clean. We did have a small balcony overlooking the pool, which was nice. even though it also looked over a vacant lot full of old boats and garbage. The room was fine, but the rest of the amenities at the hotel were either not... More

We had a reservation for this hotel that I had made several months beforehand and when my husband and I showed up they informed us that the hotel "was not finished" and that they would put us in a taxi for another hotel under the same management. The whole situation was very shady and they would not let us even... More

We stayed here on our last night in Mexico. Because it was the end of December it was difficult to find a hotel in Cancun. I think the hotel consisted of an old and new section. The room we stayed in was quite new and maybe not completely finished yet, as there was no mirror in the very new installed... More

I only booked into this hotel for one day whilst travelling through the city and was very impressed with the facilities and service. I found the reception staff particularly helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the food good. I even treated myself to a massage which was just what I needed after travelling for two days! Would... More

We stayed here for 2 nights after travelling in Belize for two weeks. The hotel is based in downtown Cancun about 5-10mins from the ADO bus station (no more than 25 pesos can ride away or you can get the R1 bus right outside the station). Due to location the hotel isn't surrounded by tourists. Area is perfectly safe and... More

Choosing the hotel governed how our holiday went. We booked our reservation with Hostelbookers.com which gave us cheapest rates (£28 per night). The hotel isn't cheap if you pay without finding good deals ($750 pesos per night for a single). Arriving mid-day at Cancun airport the transfer service easily found the hotel and only took around 30 mins. Our room... More

Our taxi didn't have any trouble finding this hotel. When you say Lopez Portillo, corner Bonampak everybody knows where it is. The good things about Hotel Terracaribe are: Very good free WiFi, the room (very clean, spacious, good firm beds, large closet, good shower), the mosquito-screens in the windows, the air conditioning, the staff, the (small) pool, the small cheap...
