I booked 3 nights here via Bookings.com. They didn't let the hotel know? But the staff were very helpful when I arrived after 20hrs of travel. They organised a room for me and made sure I was happy. The room was spacious and clean if a little used. The location is Central Cancun in a pedestrian street so be sure... More

We book directly this hotel for our last night in Mexico. We've paid 600 pesos. We find that is a good quality price. Near ado near a sympatic typical place. Near the sport bar la taberna and the good restaurant la paria (quite expensive). The staff was really good with fluently english and even some Word on french. Their advice... More

We always stay at the Colonial on our way to and from Isla Holbox. The hotel is small but charming. The rooms are small but very clean with good air conditioning. The location is central to great restaurants and shopping. The staff is EXCELLENT.I recently needed medical attention and they were very helpful in finding us a good doctor nearby. Truly,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights because the first hotel we stayed at didn't have any rooms for 2 nights of our trip. I booked one night on a travel website that was having a deal and one night through their own website. When we went to check in they only had the reservation that I made throught the travel... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with an interval of 3 weeks. The price has been raised with 20percent. According the staff they have higher prices in summer periods. One room was ok. The other room was bad and without any window. The staff speak fluently English. They are overstaffed. While eating outside we noticed 2 staff members playing... More

This is a nice little hotel near downtown Cancun. It's not on par with the big resorts on the beach but is much cheaper. The room was a good size, clean, and had A/C. There is a small plaza next door where they do shows and events and has food vendors. There were usually quite a bit of people there.... More

Having read some of the reviews for this hotel I was somewhat apprehensive in staying here. My stay was without any real issues. The hotel has some characteristics of a hotel and some of a hostel - I would not be classed as an equivelent 3 star in the States or GB but the price should really give that away... More

Rather than stay at a hotel in the Hotel Zone in Cancun, we opted for a cheaper alternative in the center of Cancun. To our surprise the hotel was quite nice, on a quiet side street, close to the ADO bus station and right in the middle of the restaurant district. We could enjoy the energy of everyday life in... I wish I read the last 2 reviews before me and my girlfriend went. Someone stole our money and credit cards from the room, my girlfriend got her chain and cross stolen and kicked to the ground right infront of the hotel by some drug fiend. The place called the police on us when we complained about the money. I... More
