Our stay was wonderful but 2 things need some work...the pool filters were not up to par as we noticed water was not being filtered good when there were a lot of swimmers. The bar dispenser in our room offered several choices and none were what we drank. I went through a big routine to have one bottle removed and... More

For the amount of money we paid to come here I was very disappointed with the service of the front desk staff, the hours of the restaurants and pool facilities, and the unavailability to get a reservation at the resort!! We by far had more fun when we left the resort for daily activities then when we stayed. It is... More

We have visited many Riu hotels and this is definitely one of the best. The hotel is a short distance from the airport, maybe 35/40 minutes drive, and is opposite 2 shopping malls that sell your usual holiday souvenirs, pool floats, t-shirts etc. Other more upscale shopping malls are a close drive, with designer shops and restaurants. The food was... More

We stayed here on the second week of our Mexican holiday after 7 nights on the Thomson Yucatan Explorer Tour. Our two teenagers 16 and 14 were with us.The public areas are very impressive, Art Deco in style and opulent. It was a completely mixed nationality hotel with very few Europeans. Mostly South American, American and Asian. There are some... More

We loved our stay at Riu Palace Las Americas. The rooms were clean and comfy. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular and extremely friendly. Highly recommended. We had a sea view and its was worth the extra money. Treat yourself and stay at this all inclusive.

Very late in writing this review, I will keep it short, stayed for 14 nights end sep/early oct 2013. We had stayed 3 years previously! Free upgrade to an amazing view! Staff are wonderful, palace is wonderful, food is in the main very good, but it's all about the views for me and the people, truly amazing. Off to Jamaica... More

I just returned from RLA for my mid august vacation. Nice weather, nice view. Vintage decorates. But there's a few thing I don't like; buffet was always the same, nothing new. Restaurants were always booked. And they were not that good also. The room seems clean. But we found small cockroachs in the bathroom. Probably came from the sink. The... More

I stayed at this resort as a VIP, all inclusive at the villas adults only portion of the resort. From the second I arrived to the moment I left I was treated extremely well and felt appreciated. The resort looks amazing right from the moment you walk in. Everyone is more than willing to help you. Almost every single worker... More

One of my biggest concerns staying in an all inclusive hotel was "what if the food isn't good"? The restaurants in this hotel are wonderful. You will not go hungry. Don't miss the Asian restaurant. Yum!
