The beach is small but nice, you can do good snorkelling here and restbunder their umbrellas. The only complaint I have is that you can't bring any food or drink on the beach, which means that you have to buy everything at their restaurant. I thought that was unreasonable as I just wanted to pay for the beach, and have... More

We only stayed on the beach and had drinks. It cost only about $5 to get in and it was well worth it. The beach chairs were comfortable enough and the pina coladas were yummy. They even have free outdoor showers. The beach had white sand, but was not particularly spacious and it was located near a dock. Three of... More

We went to Isla Mujeres during our spring break vacation in Cancun. Our friends were already there and suggested by the hotel front desk where they were staying, we went to snorkeling to Garrafon De Castilla beach. You can take ferries from different ferry port locations in Cancun Hotel Zone, we took the ferry from Playa Tortugas, from our hotel... More

This is a great little spot next to the large Garrafon Park on Isla Mujeres. While I have visited both, my adventures at the Park always seemed to include too many crowds which made finding a chair difficult. Also, when you visit you are forced to pay for all-inclusive for the day and I prefer moving around trying different restaurants.... More

I did not stay at the hotel but came to snorkel and eat. The taxi is 78 Pesos one way from the Ferry Port area. You pay 50 Pesos admission fee to get in. The locker rental is 20 Pesos and I brought my own snorkeling gear but snorkel rental is probably 50 Pesos max. Very quiet and relaxing area... More

We didn't stay at the hotel; we did a day trip from Cancun & rented a golf cart ($45 for the day) on Isla Mujeres. This place is located right next to Garrafon park so the snorkeling is in the same area but it costs 50 pesos/pp for the day instead of $85 pp at Garrafon Park. There is an... More

We came here to snorkel and enjoy the facilities. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't review on that. This beach club isn't grand or big but very quaint and small, but if you are on a budget and don't want to break the bank account but want to enjoy some time relaxing in the sun and snorkel... More

This is a great place with iguanas, nice people, wonderful snorkeling and ambiance galore.. It is old and most of the AC units in the 12 rooms need replacing... We have stayed many times. HOWEVER BEWARE... if you call and make reservations... they will hold them only if they don't get a better offer. In our case I made reservations... More

Had lockers and put items in locker to snorkel, came back and all my money was taken from my wallet. When confronted and asked to call the police they refused to call even though asked over 10 times to call the police in Spanish. What a shame. oh and the service at the restuarant sucked.
