Great time, w/exception of beach and amount of sharp coral that was on the sand. The walk from Casa Magna to JW Marriott on the beach was nearly impossible due to the sharp coral rocks. I agree with everyone, this is an excellent hotel. The room is clean, comfortable; the resort itself is immaculately clean. The beach is very small and rocky in some spots, but the view of ocean crushing against the rocks is breathtaking. Hotel – beautiful and clean and only 15 drive from Cancun Airport Beach – horrible. Rocks everywhere...not regular rocks, SHEETS of rock to the point you could not even swim in the ocean and the water was rough. I ran on a special offer for this hotel and jumped on it after reading reviews here. I was not disappointed. This is a super, supreme, excellent hotel. While I could not afford the regular rate here, I didn't bat a eye tapping into the minibar for beer, eating and drinking in the bars, and taking the excursions offered. Strange... more
