6-bed mixed dorm, $180 MXP pp/per night, 19th – 20th March 2014 Vibe: Clean and clinical white walls welcoming all spectrums of traveller through its lack of pathos and identity. Location: A few minutes from Cancun's bus terminal makes it convenient for anyone arriving by air or nearby cities. For those wanting the Cancun 'spring break' experience, maybe best to... More

I simply cannot believe the past reviews of this place. Maybe Moloch has seriously upped it's game in the last month or so. We loved our stay here, and it was the best value hostel we've stayed in yet. Here's why we liked it: The pool area and pool itself was super nice. Our room was very clean, as was... More

I've read some bad reviews about this place - but I needed to be close to the ADO station and the other hostels in the area only had coed dorms left where as I wanted an all-female room. So I booked Moloch for 2 nights and I had absolutely no complaints! -Close to the ADO bus terminal; about a minute... More

Pro: clean. Breakfast included. Pool. Cons: backpacks that you leave are charged after 6 (were weired if you pay a whole night before) extremely unfriendly staff (I felt treated very bad). Some of our personal belongings (cloth) disappeared (I do not explicitly blame the Hostel, since I couldn't prove it) and the staff gave us only some things back not... More

Dont go there if you like athmosphere, kindness, nice ppl, colours, no overkill chilled airco, nice mexican vibes....! Only go there if you need a pitstop after a longbusride or if you like coldstaff, and not the best neighbourhood (not about danger, just not pretty). room was super cold, "but i need to remember that its a shared dorm!" Ok,... More

I chose this hostel based entirely on its proximity to the bus terminal (<5 minute walk)--my luggage was on its last leg, and I had an intestinal bug (tmi?), so I literally just wanted a place to crash for a night before taking the bus to the airport and heading home. The facilities here were a step above anything else... More

Never seen a hostel as bad as this one - after traveling over 20 countries! Just as the other reviewer said: tons of bed bugs. I would also add: very nasty staff. It's a shame as the hotel is in a good location which is why my friend and I chose to stay there for two nights - despite reading... More

We arrived here early morning after an awful experience at a previous hostel in Playa del Carmen. Ok we weren't allowed to check in straight away but we expected that. The receptionist allowed us to leave our bags in a locked cupboard so that we could go into Cancun for the day as check in isn't until 3pm. We did... More

we stayed in "moloch" for two nights in the private room located upstairs. On our arrival day the room, we had waited for the room for over 1,5h. The check in time is 3pm, however the room had not been cleaned by the time, so we had waited upstairs for someone to come over and take care of it. Only... More

After reading the previous reviews it was a little worrying to stay here...HOWEVER it was such a lovely and relaxing stay. They must have heeded people's comments because the breakfast was really good: cereals, juice, coffee, an assortment of teas, bread and yoghurt. The wifi is available at good signal throughout the building and the staff are really helpful and... More
