Overall a great resort. They are considering an all inclusive which in my opinion will become a drunk fest. It will also take away from the "Cancun Experrience" We have been going to cancun over 25 years and have enjoyed the many excellent restaraunts in Cancun. The Royal Mayan was a great place to stay. It was family friendly, seemed to have a slightly older, more mature population of guests. Access to the beach was fantastic, relatively quiet and peaceful. What a great place to stay in Cancun. An older facility that has been beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pools are lovely and beach devine! It was quiet (you never heard your neighbors) and the staff very attentive. Our housekeeper was a busy bee and cleaned our unit daily. Loved it! More
