I had read all the reviews prior to booking , I always do this but found them very mixed !. I decided to book anyway as it was in the location i wanted and at the price i wanted to pay and adults only. In my opinion i see myself as a well traveled person having been to various countries... More

The staff could care less that you are a guest in their resort! The room was dirty and the linens were dingy looking. I have traveled all around for over 55 years and have never stayed in such a terrible place. The pillows were like bricks so you could not sleep. The food was disgusting. They charged you for many... Been to this place three times and have had a great time every time. The hotel itself I would call an average hotel accommodations wise. The staff is what makes this place great. From Jose, Carlos, fonzi and the rest of the tiki bars staff who keep your drinks full and are always entertaining. Oscar and Gamal at the buffet... More

Although this is not the fanciest hotels, it is a terrific place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurants are terrific and the property is very well maintained. The only things I would have preferred would be a small disco so that those who want to dance don't have to leave the resort and more shade opportunities... More

We just returned from our 4th visit to the Golden Parnassus. The #1 reason we keep returning is the Fabulous, Friendly Staff... and the location. It's a smaller resort (approx 220 rooms) so you're never more then a few feet from the pool area which over looks the ocean. #2 Reason is the fun people from all over the world... More

My husband and I went to the Golden during spring break. We chose the hotel because it is an adults only, and discourages "spring breakers". It was quiet not having kids around (my first time to an adults only and I will continue to chose this option). The workers (short of the reception desk) are very happy and eager to... More

This was our first time to Cancun, so we went through Apple Vacations. I would recommend going through them for everything! So easy and shuttle included! Got hotel, shuttle, and non stop round trip for a great price!!! I'll start with the "bad", but it's not really bad. I would also like to start by saying supposedly there is a... More

We emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to request a room on a higher floor and Maru (Customer Relations) kindly obliged – we stayed on the 4th floor with a superb ocean view. The room was a bit dated but everything worked and was kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. The rooms really should have digital safes in them -... More

We arrived at Cancun airport (which is a story in itself - chaos!). Once at the airport we eventually found the bus to take us to our hotel. It had been an extremely long day and we had been awake for 30hours plus. Once we arrived at our hotel our cases were off loaded where the bell boys tried to... More

This hotel is small and we loved it! The staff was super attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean but dated. The food was ok. My favorite meal was breakfast, where you could order eggs cooked to your tasting and even get a fresh fruit smoothie. The Old Barn was my favorite dinner meal. It was a fun little steakhouse....
