I traveled in Cancun without a reservation in any hostel/hotel around NYE (advice: do NOT do that!). Everything on hostelworld was fully booked so I found this place while walking on the streets after getting off the bus station (it's 2 mins from it). The staff is helpful (but speak very little English, so make sure at least one person... More

This isn't the nicest place, for sure, but you get Bimbo/Wonder bread, butter, and jam for breakfast, along with coffee, and it's only a few blocks from the ADO terminal. Lots of great restaurants nearby. One note on service: I was there for a wedding and didn't have the address of the resort. The front desk staff helped me find... More

This is a great find for anyone travelling on a budget. Initially we were trying to find another hostel, but it had closed, and a local pointed us in the direction of Las Palmas. We checked out the dorms which weren't too inspiring, but were then shown a room which was lovely! Bright, clean, nice bed, TV, air con and... More

I've stayed here several times over the years when I needed a cheap place to crash for a night or two. I'm not a big hostel fan, so I appreciate the fact that this place doesn't have the usual super-social hostel vibe. A lot of the people who stay here are Mexican workers or travelers (usually men), and the women's... More
