I have stayed at the Krystal Grand when it was the Hyatt, the Krystal Hotel group definitely made some nice improvements to the hotel. When I checked into the hotel, I requested two things 1. That my room doesn't face the Fiesta Americana, their huge AC fans are very loud 2. I requested that my room doesn't face the next... More

This is a 3 star hotel at best. Great location, beach and pool. Service was good, food was good and drinks were good. rooms were very dull and bathrooms were very outdated, old and run down. The safe in our room was destroyed and when we called they said there was nothing they could do for us. Good locations for... More

We were a bit nervous having read some of the negative reviews, but having visited we have nothing but good to say about this hotel. We only were able to stay one night, but we really enjoyed every minute here. Check in didn't take very long, and we were given the choice of a room with two double beds there... More

A friend and I needed to escape the cold winter and planned 5 nights at this hotel. Both of us had been to Mexico before and we thought we were in for a GRAND time considering what we paid for our stay; at $200/night, we should've been living it up but instead were dishing out the pesos left and right.... This is an "all inclusive" hotel where they cut corners and it shows in the food, accomodation and services. Food: The all inclusive breakfast, stay away from it if you expect good quality. My colleague and I had to pay extra because we wanted fresh squeezed orange juice and better coffe. The choice offered buy the hotel is juice from... More

There is construction next door so make sure you do not get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We requested to get moved and both times the shower drain was very slow. The second room's had a better scenery. We had inclusive but did not explain that the Mexican restaurant was around the corner by the time we... More

I had had it with Chicago winter and always being 'busy' so decided to treat myself to a splurge trip. Being self-employed, I'm pretty protective of my time and money (no such thing as a 'paid vacation' in my world). I had never done an all-inclusive, never been to Cancun, don't speak Spanish, and hadn't traveled solo on such a... More

It is worth the upgrade to Altitude. The breakfast was filling and the Happy Hour a nice start to the evening. The service from Jonathan was top notch and Jose was always there with a smile. I was able to stop in during the day for a coffee and was always greeted warmly. I want to thank Jonathon for all... More

Occupying a prime position on the beachfront peninsular in Cancun just a short walk from Centro, it also adjoins a substantial construction site (another hotel) which considerably diminishes the ambience and amplifies the vintage of this hotel. The good: great location and, as long as you don’t dwell too much on the aging exterior, a favorable first-impression as you arrive... More

If there was a 0 rating I would have given them that or -ve. If you are reading this while planning to book this hotel, please do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, you will be much happier trust me! The beds are super old (8+ yrs older) and it definitely shows its age. This is a old Hilton hotel... More
