I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cancun end OCT 2009 and this was an excellent choice very friendly staff beautiful interiors, great food and drinks very nice rooms, beautiful views ...overall an EXCELLENT property the beach next door to the left at the Dreams resort is accesible. walking distance to all nightlife. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the clubs/nightlife and souvineer shopping. The "Club Level" is under rennovation until 10/31/09. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days, originally it was going to be a 4 day trip but we stayed an extra day. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I have had in a hotel stay... The hotel was great. We were facing the beach end of the hotel zone and the view was absolutely amazing. It even has a little plaque on the the balcony claiming the best view in the zone. The only thing i wished it had was its own beach. Didn't relaly get to spend much time in the ocean, mainly stayed... more

We stayed here during our tour to Cancun. The hotel was under construction. We took the ocean view room but the view is not that great. This hotel does not have a private beach. Thats a downer. more

Not sure what MTravelerFlorida is talking about. This is a Hyatt and a good one at that. We were just there for a 5 day stay and found clean well appointed rooms and comfy beds on the Regency Level ($44 upgrade for us), wonderful breakfast included in the upgrade, one of the best massages ever at the spa, good lunches... more
