It is hard to find hotels in Cancun that are not all inclusive, but this is a real gem. Starting at the entrance with the bell men, then the check-in desk, finally the concierge, one could not ask for anyone to be any friendlier or more helpful. We stayed in a two-bedroom condo, which was very large and well equipped.... More

I had a hotel rm/studio w/2 beds, fridge & microwave, nice size closet. The whole place is outdated, the bathroom is the nicest part of the room, but the beach is great in the afternoon & sunset. Loved the hammocks over by the gym pool. HOWEVER, management might consider adding a night light in the hammock pagoda b/c I left... More

My wife and I stayed at Casa Maya for 10 days in November 2014. The hotel is maybe a bit old, but kept in pristine and clean condition. We liked the hotel, you could say it's a 4-5 star hotel at the price of a 4-star hotel. Upon arrival the registration was easy and smooth, we got a room on... More

The beach is white and wide with plenty of room for lounge chairs, but beware of plopping down in a "special club" section even if nobody is using it. You will be told to move out and join the commoners. They should clean up the seaweed. The pool area is very nice as well but can get crowded. The food... More

expected so much better, but was sorely disappointed. the staff was surly and again we were not given a triple even though we had asked for it. the room was peculiar especially the bathrooms. primitive. far away from the attractions and no exchange counters. food was so so. breakfast was good. it was awkward that there were demarcated zones on... We enjoyed this resort because of the beautiful beach and close proximity to town. The resort was small with only 2 towers. It had 2 pools and 2 nice restaurants. The great thing was not having all inclusive which gave us the ability to try some of the wonderful local restaurants. The staff was friendly and put us in a... More

we had stayed at a more posh posh hotel for the first 2 days of our weeklong vacation, and found that place very frustrating. upon entering casa maya, after about two minutes the place started to feel like home. Our front desk man was very welcoming (Alejandro?). the lobby is expansive, all old marble, and makes you feel like you've... More

We recently stayed here as an exchange of time share and thought the whole experience was fantastic. Reception staff to food and beverage staff all excellent. The restaraunt has plenty of selection and highly recomend the special tacos made to order. Views from the room were great and the beach facilities very good. Hightly recommend. We had loud neighbours which... More

The location, beach and staff make this an awesome place to stay in Cancun. Bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes you all over for 10 pesos. Rooms are a little dated but they are making upgrades. The beach is so nice who wants to be in your room anyway. Would definetly recommend this resort, they treat... More

First and foremost, if you're looking for the typical Mexican Spring Break location, this is not your place. If you're looking for a quiet, yet fun, family trip, this is your place. I traveled with my mom, two sisters and infant niece during the slow season (November). Upon arrival, check in went smoothly. Yes, we were subjected to the initial... More
